Have taken it on plane once, and it performed well. Zippers are smooth, material seems sturdy (generally don't like black bags, but love the print). Appreciate the interior pockets and am so glad for the luggage sleeve. Shoulder drop length is good, but the straps are narrow, so filling this bag will dig into your shoulder or hands. I'm getting a strap pad. Also would have liked a cross body strap, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. The price is fair, but wait around for Baggallini frequent sales and discounts.

I plan to use this tote as my personal item on some flights, with my purse safely tucked inside. If needed, on my return home, I can expand the tote to add the extra things I acquired while traveling, then check my carryon and use this as my carryon. I appreciate the high quality of the bag, its pockets, its gorgeous material, and its flexibility for travel. I've used other Baggalini items and this one seems to be just as wonderful and practical! Note: I gave 5 stars for quality, but 4 for value (because I find this bag to be a bit expensive).

The exact same bag that I bought a year ago from a different company but much better quality. The weak zipper broke on the other one, and I was debating whether to get another because the size and functionality had been exactly what I wanted. Then I saw that Baggallini had made its own version, and when I tell you I JUMPED ON THIS. So happy to have a bag that will do what I want, and last!!,

So light! It's quite compact zipped up. I was surprised by how large it got unzipped and how many pockets they fit into the bag. Bought it for a trip in April. I'll update it if doesn't hold up to expectations.

I love Baggallini's quality. Products seem to be well thought out. Easy to use. Love that I can pack this in my suitcase and then use it for my personal item and carry it on with my souvenirs on the way home.

Just bought this bag for a trip to Toronto. Very roomy and the top zip and side bag made everything I needed on the plane very accessible. I would recommend this bag to anyone who asked about it.

BEST BAG EVER! I purchased the Baggallini expandable bag 13 years ago and it started showing the love just recently, I literally use this bag weekly. I was hopeful to find the same bag but of course, brands make changes over time. I was so happy when it arrived and saw that it is almost identical to the bag I loved for so many years. When I fly I place my backpack purse in this baggallini along with snacks, my reading material, my zip lock of liquids and a few other key things. This bag can take it all. So grateful Baggallini that you have the expandable still around.

Was amazed how well this tote was packaged. Unfortunately when ordering didn't realize how large it would be. Liked the color but too large for a petite woman like me. Wish Baggallini would make a smaller tote.

This is larger and heavier than I expected. I have a packable backpack that reduces to about 3 square and weighs next to nothing. This is more substantial - nice bag, just heavier than expected.
