Lightweight, perfect for spring. I thought it was over priced but it was on sale plus I had a coupon so it was at a price point that made it affordable.

Fabric is a beautiful shade of green and the fabric is nice and lightweight. When pushing up the sleeves, the fabric folds up like an accordion and becomes barrel-shaped. Not a deal breaker, just weird.

Have three Airlight tops that have fit and kept me warm one full zip, the other two with snap openings. Thought it was time to get another full zip. The new purchase has thinner fabric and is cut bigger. Unfortunately it didn't work out for me.

It's nice but I wish it had a hood like the kid's version

I love the lightweight fabric of this zip up; it's for when you need just a little something and it layers well. However, what's up with the proportions? I am 5'8" and ordered my usual size L. The arms and torso are oddly long. The torso length ends somewhere mid-hip, which I think isn't necessary (or flattering) for this type of garment. Personally, I'd prefer if it were more waist-length. The arm length I can handle, but the body length is somewhat bothersome; I have to keep pulling it down so it doesn't bunch up. The other oddity is the size of the hand-pocket openings. I have average size hands (women's medium glove) and find that the openings are just a smidge too small for me to put my hands in or take them out without scraping them. I'll probably keep it, but I'm deducting a star for the goofy fit.

I am very happy with this jacket. The fit is true to size and I love the color. It is a nice light weight spring and summer jacket.

This jacket has a lot going for it: functional lighter weight for spring and summer in WY, beautiful color, perfect fit. Only problem is accessing contents through the small pocket openings; I don't like feeling a scratchy zipper on the back of my hand when I'm doing that. (I'm not bothered by the light-weight zipper, as some have mentioned; my experience with LL Bean over the years is that even the low-profile zippers are sturdy,)

This is a great fitting jacket. I love the color and stitching pattern. I like the length as it is not too short. The jacket washes well too!

Jacket is lightweight which I was looking for. The only complaint I have is that the zipper is poor quality...small and not sturdy.

I love the lighter weight of the airlight knit top. I prefer to wear a couple lightweight layers; sweatshirts and thick sweaters are too hot for me. The blue color is pretty too, but there are a couple features that I'm not fond of. The zip pockets are on the side seam which makes them awkward to access - would be better where your hands naturally could reach them (on the front just towards the side.) The other thing I dislike is the LL Bean logo placed so obviously on the chest....not attractive. If we have to have a logo, how about embroidered in a similar color and maybe on the sleeve instead of the chest? I am a seamstress and discovered that I could very carefully cut the threads in the back of the jacket to release the logo patch- it was not glued on, just stitched. Problem solved.

I typically wear a medium in tops/jackets. This was just swimming on me. It's a nice color periwinkle and the quality is good. It would be advantageous if it was slightly fitted at the waist. I will exchange it for another size smaller

This is a beautiful jacket. It's warm and comfortable. However, be careful not to snag the material, because it makes a terrible pulled spot. On only the second time I wore the jacket, I snagged the arm of the jacket on a shopping cart and it created a tear and the material inside the ridges pulled out. It was a mess. I was able to sew it up, but doesn't look great. Made me sad because it IS a nice jacket. Just beware that the outer material is not so durable and will snag easily.

nice light jacket to use as sweater indoors or cool outdoor activities. Seems bigger than most Mediums I get from LLBean. fabric seems thinner than the same item from 2 years ago.

The airlight jacket is perfect, but the side pocket zippers are hard to get too. I added a braided string of embroidery floss to be able to access the zipper top.

I bought this for my wife as a gift. She likes the light coverage. Only wishes the bottom hem hung more openly rather than gathered.

I hadn't ordered Airlight before. For me, it was too shiny/slippery. But quality was good if you like that kind of thing.

Great jacket. This is my second one. I wore the first one out. I seem to reach for it all the time. Great weight. True to size. I just wish they would put their logo somewhere on it other than the chest. I HATE being a walking billboard.

I gave this a 4 stars because the sleeves are very big compared to how the rest of it fits. It's a very soft and sleek material. The chest and body fits good but the sleeves should be smaller for this size. Maybe that's just my preference tho. It may have been made to be a little baggy so just keep this in mind. I ordered the purple and the teal, and even though the sleeves are baggy, I still kept them and wear them if that means anything.

I have two Airlight vests and a jacket. They are comfortable, colorful, and fun to wear. But I agree with many other reviews that have stated that the ll Bean logo on the chest is inappropriate and distracts from what otherwise could be a smart, up-scale jacket. If you absolutely have to advertise, put the label on the hem where it does not distract from what could be a high-class garment and not just a jacket to wear doing errands or going to the gym.

I like how this jacket is so lightweight and nice especially for travel. The pockets need improvement; it is difficult to get things (e.g. keys, phone) in and out of.

It is softand very comfortable. If you could make it a little more lightweight it would be better and larger hardware on the zipper would be easier to use.

I bought the airlight knit jacket in eggplant. Love it! Beautiful color, good fit, but the zippered hand pocket openings are weirdly small. The zippers actually scratch my hands.
