This is for my husband for christmas, he has one in a grayish color and so I decided he needs another one in a diff color. He says it's the warmest sweatshirt he's owned. It seems to be of very good quality. Very heavy duty.

My Katahdin Iron Works Hoodie is a good fit and very warm

My wife got me a Katahdin jacket in light blue about 10 years ago. I love my old jacket, and today, it's worn out. She convinced me to order another one. I didn't think I would find one just like my light blue Katahdin jacket that she got me 10 years ago. The new one is better because it's lighter and just as warm. It's very comfortable and sized correctly. I wear 2X Tall. The only problem is there is not a light blue version. Mine is black like the picture. Except for the fact that black is not light blue, I like my new jacket better. It's not often that you find an article of clothing that is better over time and costs less, too. I remember that the old jacket was over $100. This one is less than $100. Sometimes things get better over time. My only complaint is it's not light blue, Though I knew that before I bought it.

This is a great shirt. My husband has 3 just loves them. It all he wears mostly all winter.

I have bought these Katahdin hoodies for my family for years and we wear them until they are threadbare. They are warm and the quality is great! They are perfect for our Vermont cold weather.

Great quality sweatshirt lined everywhere but the arms, which I love.

Very comfortable. Really like the security pocket. Solves my biggest complaint about zip up sweatshirts. Things falling out the kangaroo pocket!

Fleece lining?? Where is it! The terry cloth type lining is anything but fleece! And not in the arms either. Certainly NOT worth such a price! Wheres LL Bean quality? Im done ordering and getting disappointed.

Exceptionally warm, tough, and comfortable. Great as a jacket and good for layering with a parka or work coat.

This coat has excellent form fit but is on the heavy size. It did not provide good comfort from winds and lacks good warmth. For thee reasons I do not recommend this coat.

Wore it today in mid thirties temps. No other jacket needed. The best hooded sweatshirt out there! Super warm. Order a size larger for comfort.

Living on the Oregon Coast is a wet and chilly environment. This thicker hoodie has been doing the job for me. It is not a rain coat but can handle a little moisture and not make you cold like a thinner one would.

It is warm, and it seems true to size. About the only thing I would like about it more is if it had zippers on the pockets.

Good looking and well-crafted sweatshirt. I would give it 5 stars but I don't love the sleeve lining. The sleeves are a silk-like material and not the soft, warm fleece of the interior. Otherwise - I'm quite happy with this sweatshirt and I'm sure it will last for a long time.
