Got this as a warmer, casual hoodie. The fleece lining is an interesting and effective idea. The inside of sleeves is smooth, so your shirt sleeve is not snagged by fleece as you insert arms (smart idea). Can wear it outdoors or around house in lieu of a sweater. However the cuffs are knit and unreinforced, and I am concerned that they will wear and fray from pulling on them to take it off. Time will tell.

I buy these jackets as they fit my body much better than the womens comparable jacket as they are longer in the body length. They also keep me warm during the cold months. I really like the hidden pocket, but was disappointed that the design now only has one hidden pocket instead of two. I have several of these jackets in most of the colors.

This is now my favorite sweatshirt. It is comfy, cozy and stylish. The perfect blend. I can wear it out to a restaurant for dinner or to sit on the couch and watch TV. It's become my goto sweatshirt for everything.

This was a Christmas gift and he loved it! He is not good with change - so this was a monumental moment! The color was as pictured - a muted red with gunmetal Grey lining. This hoody feels like an old friend. It is so soft and warm, but looks really nice. It is his new go to jacket. Thanks - you made me look good!

The sweatshirt did a lot of shrinking after only one wash.

This "fleece lined" sweatshirt is only lined in the body portion of the sweatshirt. The sleeves are a slick "taffeta" that leaves the arms feeling cold and the warmth and coziness of the sweatshirt off balance. I purchased a fully lined flannel sweatshirt years ago and was hoping to replace it and was told that they no longer make that either as they feel it is easier to slip your arms in the sleeves without it being lined. I don't agree with that theory. It seems that everyone is cutting back, and for the price of $99, that's disappointing. Returned item.

Nice looking and very warm. I ordered LT and XLT sizes online. XLT had to be exchanged at the store for 2XLT since length was short and arm movement was restricted. LT fit fine.

Very small. I have purchased things from LL Bean in the past and had good results but this was so small and tight I couldnt get it off without a struggle. Im 56 and the large felt like an extra small.

I went out on a limb and bought this sweatshirt as a Christmas present for my father when LL Bean was out of his trusty favorite. I fully expected him to return it even though it looked to me like the perfect sweatshirt for a guy who is always cold. I'm excited to say that he loved it, and looks forward to wearing it "at the cabin!" VICTORY! It fit him perfectly, which is to say it's true to size for LL Bean sizing. It's a nice hefty weight, but not restricting of movement. The color is also true to LL Bean. My dad has had a number of LL Bean shirts in the exact same maroon color. Quality seemed solid. All around great purchase!
