Based on reviews, I ordered 1 pair in 31, my regular Levi's size, and 2 pair a size larger. The 31 would not go over my hips, one size 32 was too tight in the waist and one pair size 32 was perfect! Even if it took several pairs to get a fit, I Love the 501 style - they still have front pockets that one can reach into. The denim is not as thick as it used to be and the waistline is cut higher for a more modern fit. Thank you Zappos for easy returns.

I wanted a pair of straight leg, button fly jeans that aren't ripped and aren't cropped. For some reason that is hard to find, so when I came across these 501's they reminded me of my college years in the mid-80's when Shrink-to-Fit 501's were all everyone wore. If nothing else, I thought I'd try these as a bit of nostalgia. The size 28 fits me well; I'm 5'5" and fluctuate in weight between 125 and 128 lbs. I have a pair of Levi's cropped "New Boyfriend" ripped & distressed jeans that are a size 27, so I think these 501's run a little on the smaller side, which is probably because of the style of the jeans; the "New Boyfriend" jeans are supposed to be loose so the size 27 in that style doesn't surprise me. These jeans are not as soft as I remember the ones from the 80's, but maybe after wearing and washing them a few times the fabric will soften up. Overall, I like the style, I just wish the jeans weren't so "stiff."

The material (100% cotton) is great, but the fit is funky. Bunches up in the front crotch area and is not a slim fit through the thigh. Disappointing.

Loved them when I put them on but they got loose in one wear and didn't snap back much after a wash. Not the look I was expecting. Instead of going out jeans, they are my hang-out-at-home jeans.

I purchased the soft black 501s, they have a butterfly. Great pair of Levi’s! No stretch I didn’t want any stretch and I’m so happy with this product. You can’t beat the price for a good pair of Levi’s. Soft black is a good color and will go great with a black turtleneck or a white blouse and black blazer. Very happy with this purchase!

True Levi's in sizing and quality. I wear a 30 in Madewell but need to size up to a 32 in Levi's and I love them! The grey color is a great addition to my normal blue jean rotation. 10/10 would recommend

Great quality and fit. Distressed details compliment the style. Love 100% cotton. Sure to be durable, long lasting, and will age well. I'm 5'6", long legs, and the 30" inseam was perfect for rolling up one time or leaving as is for a more loose profile. Recommend this particular style and color combination.

Classic Levi's. I love how they fit me. They take some breaking in time as they are all cotton. I love the wash, it is the perfect faded blue jean classic color.

Fit was true to size. Rise was nice and there was no gap in the back so nice for a curvy fit. Button fly is a nice feature.

Flattering fit. Classic Levi's. I like the high waste and comfortable cut. Runs a tad small.

these are true to normal levi’s 501 sizing (if you’re used to stretch in your denim, you may need to size up) - the wash is a brighter blue like pictured, so it looks “new” rather than vintage

For years I have worn 501's in size 29. I know Levi's has been "up-sizing" so I ordered two pair - 28 and 27. Well, they were both too big. The material was pretty good, but still not the excellent heavy denim of the past. I wish Levi's would make the 501's of the 80's thru early 2000's. I would pay a premium to have those again.

Lordddd these were small.. I’m normally a 29 and these wouldn’t even go up. I had to return.

You sent the wrong size and the wrong color

I’m a 28 in Levi’s but these wouldn’t even go over my hips. I tried both the 28 and 29, no luck. Returned. :(
