The toe box was wide enough which is why I love this brand so much! Arch was perfect and supportive. Not too heavy. Really feels like you are walking on clouds!

This was the perfect shoe for my plantar fasciitis foot! Support in the arch and heel is just right. Wide toe box is great. Very comfortable walking right out of the box. After many, many shoe purchases, finally this is the one for relief. Highly recommend for anyone suffering with plantar fasciitis who loves to walk as much as I do.

so comfy and light weight. Not super cushiony for a running shoe in my opinion but I bought them for gym workouts and walking. Love them!

A Zapponian recommended the Topo Athletic brand as I was looking for an athletic shoe with a wide toe box and narrow heel. I have found that many others are wide in the toe box AND wide in the heel so they slip off when walking. The Topo Ultrafly 5 did not slip. It's wide toe box gave my toes room to wiggle including room for a bunion and the narrow heel kept my feet in the shoes. I was delighted that I could walk in them without any problems! They are a bit odd looking, but I got used to them quickly and for now, comfort first.

These shoes have more toe room and less drop than the athletic shoes I have been wearing (Brooks Glycerin and Hoka Clifton). I usually wear a 10 or 10 1/2 and needed an 11 in these. To be fair I am wearing them with custom orthotics, which may be part of why I needed a bigger size. I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for the past two years and have done everything - physical therapy, custom orthotics, chiropractic. Everything except cortisone shots because I hate those and from a previous plantar fasciitis episode the relief was only temporary. . It was getting better, but I just couldn't get the pain all the way gone. I started reading about the importance of plenty of toe room in your shoes, a little bit of the barefoot shoes philosophy. I found these and thought I would give them a shot. They seem to be just what I needed. My foot pain from the plantar fasciitis is nearly gone. These shoes don't have a lot of padding, which I thought I needed as I got older, but I am still able to wear them and even be on my feet for extended periods walking or standing. Just started wearing them to the gym instead of my Brooks Glycerin 22's and I can tell a difference there too. I don't seem to have the extreme tightness in my lower legs that I had been having. I also had tried the Hoka Clifton (helped but didn't cure), and Oofos flip flops after I broke my pinky toe (again they helped, more than anything had to that point). The Toppo Athletic Ultrafly 5 seems to be just what I needed. I also got them on sale which was a nice bonus. I look forward to being able to wear them without my orthotics.

I needed a wide toe box to help with some foot and Achilles pain. Wow, I put these on and just sighed with relief. I don’t think the top half of my foot has ever had enough room, due to my bunions. And my heel is snug so I’m not popping out of the shoe at the back. The arch support is also lovely.
