I've worn the Magnifly for years but several injuries in the last two years and turning 60 this year made me rethink 15 years of zero drop running. So comfortable!!! These fit like a glove in the heel and have plenty of toe space for my wide feet. I've just about made it through the first marathon cycle without an injury in two years and plan to wear these for the race.

I love these shoes. Finally a true "super trainer" from Topo. I heard about this shoe online as I was researching shoes with a bit more natural toebox (to alleviate some toe soreness/cramping). I had been training primarily in ASICS and was struggling with wanting a bouncy shoe using the latest foam but that also was light enough and wearable for daily high mileage. I was also tired of shoes with "dead foam" (yes, I am looking at you old EVA and blends). WOW! This shoe is comfortable, light, bouncy and ticks all the boxes. It has been great so far as I put on mileage for Chicago and the fall marathons.

This shoe is comfortable and feels very responsive. I've only worn it for mid-mile tempo runs so far as I'm adding it into my rotation of Topo's. I tried these to test the Pebax and can say I'm very pleased. I also ordered and tried on the Aura to see the difference and which shoe I would like the feel of better. My foot immediately felt better in the Specter 2...lighter, more flexible, and more responsive all while still feeling a nice cushion.

I love playing agility with my dogs. My feet are in bad shape and these are the only shoes that don't make my feet hurt after a few minutes standing up.

I play agility with my dogs. I can't run comfortably in most shoes. I am so glad I purchased my specter 2s! They were comfortable from the first time I put them on and I can stand, walk, and run in them for hours, which is can't do in most shoes.

I wear 8.5 wide, unfortunately these shoes are a little too narrow. Wish they made a 2E wide.

These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. Great fit, super bouncy, breathable and lots of toe room. I’m a walker and the part of the sole that extends out of the back of the shoe actually made my steps feel more stable. I’m a super happy customer!

This is my first pair of bouncy road running shoes and they are working out well. I recently started running on paved paths and wanted more cushioning than my trail running shoes provided. I feel faster and more confident with each step. I have unusually long toes and a narrow heel and the Topo Spectre 2 fit is great.

Love the cushion in this shoe and of course the roomy wide toe box. I suffered a meniscus tear this summer and recovery is going slow but wearing these new shoes I can safely get my daily walks in.

The Topo Specter 2 has quickly become my go-to for shorter efforts, specifically anything up to seven miles. It shines as an excellent daily trainer; the rocker geometry has significantly improved my running performance and provided a smooth, intuitive transition from my usual barefoot-style footwear. It truly promotes a more natural foot-strike and feel. A huge bonus is the roomy fitI much prefer it over the Atmos, which felt comparatively narrow. Honestly, my biggest issue is the lackluster color choices for the women's line. Topo needs a major refresh here! It's frustrating that the men's shoes get better options, while the women's are predominantly stuck with the same old pastels.

I sized up a 1/2 size. LOTS of room in the toe box, which I like! They are a "lot" of shoe, meaning a lot of rubber that extends on the bottom, but I appreciate the support and stability.

Speed was not my motivation to switch to Topos Specter but I've found my avg pace is at least 30 sec/mi faster. I was previously in a moderate cushion shoe so that might be part of it, but I suspect it's also their light weight. I wish they were a bit wider in the toe box like my Altras, but they fit better everywhere else. I'm a 9-9.5 in casual shoes but usually wear a 10.5 for long runs and these were no different. The tongue does sometimes get folded over on the side, which is annoying.

Fit and size feels true. The cushioning at first felt unbalancing for my feet, like the shoe was a balance board in itself. I tend to overpronate, and it first felt like I couldn't get a neutral position, going from over- to under-pronation during a single step. Being mindful of foot placement helped out, and the shoes seem better now. Not sure what the extra length of foam jutting out from the heel is for... for folks who heel-strike? A design "extra"? If it has no purpose, ditch it, it looks odd, although not odd enough for me to stop wearing them :-).

These shoes feel amazing! I like that they help keep me off of my heels and promote mid foot striking. They feel like they were made for just my feet and ohhhh, the toe box! So much wiggle room to add to the comfort!

The perfect shoe does not exist but this one comes close. I usually need a light to moderate stability shoe for excessive pronation, but this works for me. The way it fits, naturally hugging my foot coupled with the extra stack in cushioning, provides enough stability for my faster runs and track workouts. I do start to feel some fatigue in my ankles after 8-10 miles, so I'm not certain if this will make a great marathon shoe, but it checks all of the boxes for runs up to 10 miles so far.

Comfy, yet light. Not as plush as the Aura but a good shoe.

Holds my feet secure so that my supination is almost nonexistent. Has great cushioning which helps my knees. I do need to buy a half size bigger than my normal size.

These shoes are amazing for their intended use. I have read other reviews on here where people are reviewing poorly because of their own user error. These shoes are not a daily use shoe, they are a speed shoe! You should have a different shoe for long runs, speed, walking and standing. These are amazing light weight, amazing response in the shoe for sprints. Performance tighter fit in upper for speed is also very great. Would get them again!

I've been a Magnifly devotee for years but just had to move away from zero drop after 12 years of minimalist running due to some injuries. I was very wary about the new styles of overly cushy shoes but I was sold on the Specter 2 the minute they were on my feet. Have done some 8-10 milers so far and they are fantastic!

I love that TOPO is actually staying true to their base. I came to TOPO from Hoka because they narrowed the show so much I couldn't wear them anymore. Then Saucony did the same. Please don't ever change. I need the sock fit with the narrower heel. And the minimalist feel of the Hoka Cavu and the old Saucony Kinvara. Topo has done the best. I usually wear the flylite5 and the cyclone 2 but needed more cushion. I feel like youv e done it! great shoes!!!

Bought these shoes for road races. I need a wider toe box than most fast shoes, but these are great!
Feel fast with a good push off. #sweepstakes

I wear them everyday all day. They are extremely comfortable. No more worries about aching feet. I exercise by walking a minimum of 3 miles a day.
