Bought a pair for our 12-year old son for a Christmas performance/formal shoe. The shoe looked good, as pictured before buying, fit fine, and most importantly no complaints from our son.

If you want to torture your son, by all means buy him these shoes. They look great but as so hard and stiff it’s a set up for blisters galore.
