The fit was perfect, super warm layer that has helped this cold winter and the pockets are the perfect size where i don't have to wear my running belt for carrying my phone and it doesn't jostle around annoyingly. I love this and if more colors come out will be ordering more!

Bought this for the cold up north, was perfect in Minnesota for morning runs 10-25 degrees F. The snap straps on the inside allow you to unzip for ventilation while holding the vest in place and not flying all over in the snow/wind. A great cold weather gear addition.

Perfect, light-insulation vest for running, walking, and hiking. Lots of pockets, including interior ones to hold gloves or even a water bottle. Material feels smooth and comfortable around the neck. What distinguishes this from other vests is heat regulation. The two snaps hold the vest together when fully unzipped. Size is spot-on, and the stretchy sides adjust to any layers. The blue is beautiful.

I love this vest so much I don't want to actually use it for running because I want it to last a long time. I have been wearing it with button ups to work and it is so comfortable. I love the design and the fabric is really warm. The fit is a bit snug but it may just be indented to hug the hips more than I prefer.

This is my first time wearing a vest and I was surprised at how much I like it. The vest is comfortable and lightweight. It fits just right and moves with me. The fabric is effective at blocking wind. It's great to wear with a long sleeve instead of running with a bulky sweater in the cold. I like the zippered outer pockets and two inner pockets. I wouldn't change anything.

Used this vest for the first time on an early morning run. Live in the Midwest and it's pretty chilly in the fall, especially at 7 am when I like to run. The vest was comfortable and lightweight. I'd didn't rub at all under the arms like some of the other vests I've previously purchased. I didn't overheat either which is another plus. I also like the simple design and feel of the fabric. This will definitely be in my rotation for the foreseeable future.

This vest is the perfect weight for the fall weather mornings and evenings. It's lightweight enough to allow me full range but warm enough to make it to where I don't need a jacket. I especially love that it has a thin lay unlike puffy vests that get in the way. All around love this vest!

This vest is perfect! It is true to size, the fabric feels nice to the touch and the design is spot on! Now that it is fall, I've been running with it on in the occasional cold, rainy, wet, and windy mornings and it's the best weight for not keeping me too hot or getting too cold. It's got great insulation for warmth, but also vents to keep you from overheating on your most intense workouts. I love the large zip pockets too! This vest is great to wear anytime/anywhere! A must have in your outerwear rotation!

This vest is absolutely perfect when short sleeves is not enough and long sleeves are too much. It's that perfect in between layer. The pockets are extremely handy. And it drys very quickly.

The Shield Hybrid Vest 3.0 has been a great addition to my outerwear collection, offering a solid balance between warmth and flexibility. In terms of fit and feel, the vest fits true to size and provides a nice, snug feel without being too tight. The armholes and neck area have just enough room for layering underneath, and it allows for good mobility without feeling bulky. Design-wise, it's a sleek and functional piece. The streamlined look makes it easy to pair with different outfits, whether you're wearing it for outdoor activities or just around town. I like that the vest isn't overly puffy, so it doesn't add unnecessary bulk, but it still manages to keep you warm where it counts. The fabric is one of the standout features. It's lightweight but surprisingly warm, with good wind resistance, which is key for wearing it on cooler days. The material also feels durable enough to handle the elements, and the slight stretch in the fabric adds to the overall comfort and ease of movement. What I liked most was the versatility. It's great for layering and works well in a variety of conditions, whether you're active or just need an extra layer. If I were to change anything, I might add a little more insulation in the chest area for those extra cold days, as well as additional interior pockets for added functionality. Overall, the Shield Hybrid Vest 3.0 is a well-designed, versatile piece of outerwear that performs well in different settings. It's comfortable, stylish, and durable, making it a great option for anyone looking for a reliable vest.

Really impressed with the vest! It's lightweight and breathable- from day one it should be your go to choice for a workout in cool conditions. It's also a good quality that can be worn around a casual office. I like this versatility. So I highly recommend it for athletic and work settings!

Design and Comfort: The first thing I noticed was the sleek design. It looks as good on a trail as it does in a casual setting. The fit is true to size, and the stretchy fabric allows for easy layering without feeling restrictive. The lightweight material is both comfortable and functional, making it ideal for various activities. Performance: One of the highlights of the Shield Hybrid Vest is its insulation. The strategically placed panels provide warmth where it's needed most, while the breathable sections keep you from overheating during more intense activities. I wore it while hiking and found it to be perfect for fluctuating temperatures. The vest kept me warm during chilly mornings but didn't make me feel stuffy as the day warmed up. Features: The vest is equipped with multiple pockets, which are a must for anyone on the go. The full-length zipper is smooth and doesn't snag, which is a nice touch. Durability: After several outdoor activities, the vest has held up remarkably well. There are no signs of wear or tear, and it washes well without losing shape or insulation. Conclusion: Overall, the Shield Hybrid Vest 3.0 is a fantastic addition to any outdoor enthusiast's wardrobe. It offers excellent warmth, breathability, and style, making it versatile enough for both active pursuits and everyday wear. Whether you're hitting the trails or just running errands, this vest is a reliable companion. Highly recommended!

I own 3 Brooks Shield Hybrid vests. So far I am dissapointed with the 3.0 version. Build quality is an issue. Specifically, all of the zippers are lower quality than the old version. Directly comparing the two vests I loved the old pulls. The new main pull in particular always flips up rather than stay down from resistance like the old one. Also, unzipping the main zipper mine seems to hang when taking off and harder to 'aim' when putting on. All of the components of the zips are smaller and probably lighter, which is great, but I am guessing they will be less reliable in the long run. Also, the Brooks logo is peeling off after the second wash. The neck/gaiter stands up more than the old version which is actually a problem for people like me with shorter necks. I feel like it's always rubbing against my chin. This vest still gives warmth in the right places but for the price I would appreciate better zippers. The buttons on the vent let you unzip partially but cool off which is great.

I love Brooks quality and design but the Shield Hybrid Vest 3.0 runs way too large. I typically run in Medium in previous Brooks versions of this vest and I was swimming in the Shield Vest 3.0 Medium. I was bummed but had to return it.
