Makes popping noise when walking around from the material rubbing around toe area. A little tight but maybe just need to be broken in. Love the style tho

The shoes look great and they are true to size. Since I have wide feet, the fit was a bit tight. Those with narrow feet will enjoy these shoes, but if you have wide feet, order a wide shoe.

Overall, I like this shoe. I have been wearing vans for over twenty years now. I have worn different kinds of vans for an array of jobs (still wish they would make steel toes) and activities.
What I like:
-THICK soles
-Materials: I imagine the rubbery parts will be helpful wicking water and adding traction while being active. I have a Vans backpack made from the other material and it does not immediately absorb water either.
-Grip: I haven't slipped on any wet floors, wet grass, off pedals, etc
-Shape: They are not too bulky, but provide reasonable accomodation for my feet. My feet aren't exactly wide but are not narrow either.
-Color: I bought black. I did not other colors that look quite nice. I actually really wanted the brown paid but settled for black because they do not come in sizes small enough.
-Longevity: I am hoping these last quite a while and once broken in, fit my feet like a glove becoming my next pair of beat up shoes full of stories everyone tells me to get rid of but can't force myself to do it.
What I'm worried about:
-Color: Not the rubber, but the other material on the shoe is not exactly a true black. I'm not sure how they will fade (because I do wash my shoes periodically) but I hope the color doesn't fade and look bad. Fingers crossed, they look cooler as they are worn in!
-Soles: I am a little worried they will remain hard and uncomfortable no matter how long I wear them and the cost is so high I will have to continue wearing them even if that is so.
-Stitching: There is very little stitching on these shoes. It appears as though nearly all of the areas that start to peal on shoes are glued on.
-Cleaning: I am quite scared these will not wash well due to fading in the fabric and the possibility of pealing.
-Fit: I normally wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7 in these. While sitting, they're a little snug but ok. After walking around for a moment, this is a snug shoe. A 7.5 would likely be too large for me and cause tripping.
Always have, always will love Vans shoes. I posted a comment on this order already but received an email about the #sweepstakes so here it is!

Takes a few days to get broke in but comfortable afterwards. Feet will get wet in these though.

They are too narrow and my toes hurt after a certain period of time. I thought they were wide. However, I loved the designed, the material and how they look on mi.

These look identical to the photo. There is, in fact, a significant amount of cushion. If I were to jump off something and land hard on my feet, these would likely be great.
Things that worry me:
-These have little to no squish for me.
-They are small compared to the rest of the size 7 women's shoes I have.
-There is very little that is actually stitched together.
-These material that is not rubbery looks like it will fade to a greyish blue. (I plan on wearing these until they are pretty much nothing so hopefully they look good like that lol)
- Price point
Things I like about these:
-They look exactly as pictured. (I purchased all black.)
-I'm hoping they soften a little or shape around my feet in months to come after regular wear
-They have no suede and look like I may be able to get away with washing them in the machine.
-They appear to be durable.

Definitely go up 1/2 size , the toe portion is short. Other than that they are very comfortable and look exactly as pictured

definitely buy a size a half up from what you normally wear. Toebox is a little bit tight. Durability is still to be determined.

4.5 out of 5 stars there is some messy shoe glue that's pretty sloppy looking on the left shoe. Otherwise I love these bad boys!

I typically have a hard time finding shoes that will stand up to my work day. These are rugged and have great tread. I scotch guarded these so they're pretty waterproof but I would say without that if you stepped in a puddle you'd have wet socks. I work around water so the waterproofing is really important. I would compare them in walking feel to Merrels in that they don't have a lot of give. The toe box is also really narrow, I'm typically a 7.5/8 and ordered an 8 and probably could have gotten away with an 8.5 based on the toe box. I call them my "adventure vans" not to be confused with my "old people vans."

I initially thought shoe was too heavy. I walk many miles per day, and have found that I really benefit from the extra support. They help to balance me, and I'm confident they will out last my previous choices in shoes. They look great, so win win.

I use them for discgolf and then have a great feel and a lot of grip. I did have to go a half size up bc they where a little small but other than that great!

Nice fitting and comfortable. I wear them most days. Usually wear the same but hitops. Went and bought my Daughter and I another pair. I really look good on my HD Freewheeler!

Some of the reviews of these shoes make them out as too small or narrow. I found them to be quite snug myself compared with the regular Ultrarange line. However, I decided to give them a real try, and now I'm convinced they're going to be just fine. This shoe takes the form of the Ultrarange line and tightens it up. Instead of the cushy foamy sole, you get a harder, more gripping sole. It will give you more overall stability. Also, these feel a bit like hiking shoes. That snugness is support. This feels like a more solid shoe than the Ultrarange. It also makes you a bit taller. The interior footbed is molded the same as the Ultrarange, which, for me, means I don't need orthotics. It's comfortable as is.
You may need to break these in some. What I did was remove the shoelaces and then go run errands in them without shoelaces. Nothing stressful. Nothing where the shoes were going to slip off or anything. I then ordered some elastic shoelaces. When the new shoelaces came in, I installed them fairly loosely. I tied them without them being on my feet. This morning I pulled the shoes on with the laces tied in place, and I can tell this is going to work. They're still snug at the widest part of my feet, but I'm pretty sure they're going to be tolerable all day.

These shoes are well made and quite rugged. They look great, but I'm a b width and these still ran narrow.

They're super cute but stuff so definitely worth breaking them in before a long hike. The grip feels good with each step and I don't feel like my ankle will roll despite not being hi tops.

These shoes are everything they say they are: simple, lightweight, high-quality, and so far seemingly quite durable. Their only drawback is, like many Vans models, the toe box is quite narrow. I have very skinny feet, and I have a hard time imagining anyone with a wide forefoot or toes being very comfortable in these shoes. For me, though, they're pretty solid.

I love this model of sneaker. Fits great, comfortable. I have three pairs. The only downside is that it doesn't look like the photo on line. When I opened the box, it wasn't as bright as the photo indicated. A subdued blue upper and rubber edging. Kind of disappointed but I still like it nonetheless.

I got size 11 brown which appears maroon overall and like the shoe. Haven't field tested at work yet but the cushion is firm and the fit is perfect for my narrow feet. It's not as plush or sturdy/wide as hoka and cross path is more muted than the wild colors of Clifton which is why I got these.

Usually I wear a size 8.5 in vans, but these I needed to get in a size 9 for my foot to be comfortable! I love the Ultraranges, so I wanted to try something similar but different. These are pretty light weight and has grip on the bottom for rough and rocky walkings. They aren't as squishy as the Ultraranges in my opinion, but I think these will grow on me

These shoes look really good and based on my excellent experience with Vans, I assumed these would be comfortable. However, the sole felt too stiff and the expected padding for hiking shoes was not there. Plus they are a bit narrow in the forefoot which required me to try a larger size. I always wear ladies in Vans but had to go to 9.5. But then, they felt too loose. That combined with stiff soles made them feel like wood blocks on my feet. So, sadly, I had to return. Bummer. I had such high hopes.

These shoes are sturdy, comfortable with the extra padding, a great stylish hiking shoe or just to keep feet dry and safe walking on slippery terrain. The only reason I did not take them home with me is... the fit is just too tight, like the sensation of squeezing your feet all the way around 360 squeezing. After much contemplation, I decided only a skinny foot would fit in this shoe style comfortably. My feet are wide and I like a bit of wiggle room, preferable. No wiggle at all here.
