The Bean Explorer 25L backpack is really impressive. The materials feel extremely durable and the stitching and zippers are the high quality you would expect from LL Bean. It's comfortable to carry all day and has plenty of space and smart pockets for organization.

My kindergartener has loved this backpack! It is really high quality and durable. We love the internal pockets and organization and it holds a lot. Perfect for lunchbox, folders, notebooks, a change of clothes and more. My only wish is that it had a chest clip, but otherwise it's perfect.

Grandson chose this backpack for his birthday. He uses it for school ,first grade.

This backpack is great for our 4th grader. It has a well balanced amount of pockets (big and small) for lunch boxes and pencils. The quality of materials seems high and I expect the backpack will last well into the 5th grade year (or beyond). Great job LL Bean! Glad to see a quality backpack on the market.

Perfect size for my second grader! Durable, comfortable fit, various pockets to put everything she needs (I.e. school folders, lunchbox/water bottle, pencil case and every other accessory a little girl must have)! I'm continually impressed with an LL Bean bag!

This is the perfect backpack for my elementary-aged kids. Good number of pockets, water bottle pouches, etc. and nice colors to choose from. They have been durable for multiple years of use! Will repurchase when they finally fall apart, but won't be any time soon.

Great backpack and will work for a few years. My son wanted a "big boy" backpack like his brothers so of course we now have all 3 boys in LLBean BP's. He's in kinder and I bet we don't buy another one until middle school. LLBean quality is fantastic, I'm 40 and I still have a fleece pullover that I got for Christmas in 8th grade that fits and is still warm. I love that LLBean makes items that are meant to last and are timeless. Thank you an Northeast girl living in the Midwest but still loves her Bean!

Fabulous back pack for my grandson - loved all the pockets!

We absolutely love this backpack. We only got it a few weeks ago so can't speak to longevity just yet, but quality seems great. It's very spacious for my 4th grader. He loves the colors, and it seems to transition well from the younger character backpacks he's used thus far.

Great and sturdy pack for kid or adult! We're using it for a kid and it has plenty of space for all her stuff and while it is big for her, I have a feeling it will last a long time and she'll grow into it.

This backpack is well-constructed and is the perfect size for my kindergartener. It easily fits his lunch, folder, and water bottle. There's some room for him to continue to grow into it and I'm confident that we'll get several years of use from this pack.
