The color is too light and doesn't look like the picture online.

Fit and size are perfect, as always with Birkenstock. Great sandals, very durable, excellent quality, superb quality. Last year I bought a cheaper version, and within 1 year they fell apart. Penny wise, pound foolish. From now on I will stick with Birkenstocks. You get what you pay for.

I have 3 pair of Birkenstocks and these are my favorite pair. They are super comfortable and perfect for someone like me with plantar fasciitis.

My left foot is nearly 1/2 size larger than my right, so I have to size up one notch from my usual shoes. I wish Birkenstock would make half sizes rather than say 10-10.5, 11-11.5 and so on, as a whole size is a bit large for my right foot. Still an excellent sandal. The leather is beautiful in the Cognac color. Quality product that lasts.

My husband loves these sandals! There is ample arch support to keep him comfy all day. They fit his feet perfectly.

This was a gift. He is having a hard time getting used to them. Maybe he needed the narrow size? Maybe he needed a soft food bed. I don't know if these will work for him. :-( The support does not seem to be in the right place for him. I LOVE mine! Have worn Birkie's for YEARS!

I really wish Zappos referred to Support differently than with the perjorative, terms "No", "Moderate", and "Excellent". Maybe Minimal, Moderate, Maximum, or something like that? I have fairly flat feet and these sandals have the most extreme arch support I've ever encountered; to the point of being painful to even take a couple of steps in. Imagine sticking a golf ball in the middle of your shoe and then trying to walk with it pressing into your arch. That is hardly what I'd call "Excellent" but the experience you get with these sandals. I had to return them and order a different brand of sandal.
