These are pretty comfortable and I have very hard to please feet. I assume they will mold to my feet even more and will be even more comfortable and , hopefully, a little easier to get on. It is a tight squeeze at this point, but once my feet are in, all is well. The black is a bit shiny but that will probably dull a bit. I do wish they had a dark brown color rather than the light tan, which I do not find useful or attactive.

I had to give up Danskos years ago because I kept rolling my ankle in the traditional clogs. But this Meara style has a wider and lower heel base! So comfortable and stable. I'm thrilled to return to Dansko because I love the look and the excellent arch support. I normally wear 6.5-7, but size 36 was a perfect fit compared to the 37.

Dansko is my favorite shoe brand, and this style is my new favorite Dansko! Love the style, and they are super comfortable. I received them, put them on, and wore them for the rest of the day - no break in time! Great shoes!

I like the low profile of these Danskos, however I returned the shoes because I didn't like it that they were too shiny. I guess that's "waxy" means. The fit is typical of Danskos (roomy enough for thick socks), but I would like to wear thin no show socks with these and they were too loose.

I have the sling back version of these shoes and I LOVE THEM. I ordered the same size - 10.5 to 11 in the shoe and too big. Returning for a smaller size. Hope it works !

These shoes run big! I usually find a 42 in Danskos to be a little short and wide ( yes, I am tall) but these 42s were actually too big!

The Dansko Meara fits larger than the other four pairs of Dansko shoes I own. My heel shucks up and down in these even with socks on. I do not like the color at all but always liked the comfort of Dansko's. Too bad for me!

The shoe is beautiful and I ordered my regular size, 38. Unfortunately the problem was it was really hard to get my foot in the shoe and when I did it was way too big/too long. Toe box is really wide and stiff. I returned it and will try a different style.

After reading reviews that said these run big and the fact I wear a 36 in Birkenstock brand shoes I ordered a 36. Sadly, they were too tight to wear with Smartwool socks. So, I’ll reorder in Zappo’s “recommended” size, a 37. I really liked the style and look of this shoe. Can’t wait to get the correct size. I’ve learned that if Zappos recommends a size to go with it.

Dansko sometimes run large on me, but my regular sized worked for this shoe. It was wide on my medium/narrow foot, but a cotton insert built it up just enough. The toe box fits my long toes and the overall support is excellent. Best thing, when I wear this shoe, I forget I have it on.

Shoe felt slightly too big all over (I ordered a US 8.5-9, and I usually wear an 8 - 8 1/2 in a street shoe), especially in the heel, unfortunately. Would probably work with a thick sock, but southern California weather doesn't usually call for a thick sock. Shoe is well made and sturdy--feels like a clog with a heel, and would be a good everyday street shoe if the size works for you. Thanks, Zappo, for supporting my endless and usually fruitless search for a comfortable shoe!

I wear an 8. Dansko's come in 7.5/8, I could not even get my foot into the shoe. Ordered one size up which was 8.5/9. Way too big. Cute shoe if you can get it on your foot

positives: the foot bed is amazing negatives: the leather was too hard and the shoe was very heavy, also was large on the sides so I was loosing them while walking, would work for feet with a bigger frame or with edema

Too narrow. I have the Dansko shoe that is very similar to this but is a clog with a backstop and love it, but I could not even get my foot in this.

Returned these attractive Dansko Meara clogs due to being too large. I’m a solid 8 US and purchased 38 EU (reg width). They had waaay too much room in heel, far more than a pinky’s worth (which was Dansko instructions). Might try 37 but will go to an actual store first.

These were cute....I have other styles of Dansko shoes and wanted to love these but sadly they dug into my ankle, so they are a 'no go' for me.

The leather is so stiff and plastic like. I’m very disappointed, Dansko usually is a much better quality. They will be going back and I’ll continue to wear my Dansko Pattys

Way way way too big. I wear a size 38 and these felt like 40's or more. I used heel inserts but even then they were way too big in the heel. I have worn Danskos in the past no problem. Extremely disappointed. Would return if I didn't put those heel inserts in.
