Truckin' around @ -20 (f) in AK recently, absolutely love this pair! New tech upgrade is worth your investment, easy on/off, great traction, lightweight and stylish! Don't miss out this pair is lightyears away from the pair I owned 40 years back, and I thought they were tops, then! Salomon for the win, then and definitely now! Alaskan since 1959...

Great for lots of snow and cold weather. High ankle for support and protection from the elements. The traction is great as well! 10/10 would buy again.

These boots are great for Minnesota winters. They keep my feets dry and warm on the days it's been below zero here. Best winter boots I have own!!

The lacing system on this boot is cool looking but does not allow you to lock down the forefoot. Any extra tightening you do to the forefoot ends up at the ankle, so you end up with overly tight ankles, and an overly loose forefoot. This is not good for technical footwear. I was planning on doing 10+ mile winter hikes in these but I can only use them if I add a second speedlace to the forefoot.
