I have been buying the Columbia Bugaboo jacket, version 1, 2, and now 3. I have worn this jacket in 5 degree weather many times with a light weight long undershirt and a cotton thermal (LLB) Henley. I have never been cold. I am a person that likes winter. I am 135 lbs, athletic build and I wear a large. There is enough room for a mid weight wool undershirt and a scarf if you like to dress extra toasty. In the fall and spring when it is raining, I take the fleece out and just use the outer jacket as a raincoat… Without the fleece there is a lot of room inside the jacket. Without the fleece, a large outer shell would be too big. But usually it is damp here in the northeast so a lightweight wool sweater works well. This year’s price $210 is the same as last year’s. I am grateful that Columbia didn’t capitalize on the tariffs, as other companies did, when fall and winter clothing orders went in before the tariffs started.

Good fit, material, and color.

This is my fourth Bugaboo jack since 1997. These jackets are made with quality materials and get the job done. They have kept me warm in extremely cold weather conditions. They last many winters and hold up to the wind cold and icy temperatures. Will definitely purchase again and again.

Usual quality of Columbia. Beautiful model. Adjustable warmth makes it longer time of year to wear it.

I love the ability to layer or unlayer this coat. It is very comfortable and fits well. It is true to size. I had a coat like this from Columbia before and it lasted me 20 years. This feels just as well made and versatile.

This jacket was very warm, and was great protection against wind. The jacket had long sleeves and torso. We brought the jacket with us to Vermont for skiing, and the color snowdrift was great!

Several years ago I purchased a columbia 3 way coat much like this one for my wife and it has been he go to coat for all these years. But as with all clothing items it wore out over time and she mentioned she'd like a new one for Christmas. I went out to your website and was happy to see they had been ",reintroduced " and updated. Using your sizing chart I ordered a large as the one pictured was for a model of 5'7" and 125lbs who wore a medium. My wife is 5'8" and @145lbs. One of the key features she really liked with her old one was inside "drop in" pockets on the insde of the liner which were missing on the newer version although when reversed the new liner has two zip slash pockets but the can only be accessed when reversed. And finally, even though I ordered a large it was still "snug" if wearing a couple of layers underneath.

The jacket is light and the color is perfect. Hope there's one more pocket in front of the chest. The fleece would fall off some knitting wool. But the jacket is still warm.

I love 3 in 1 jackets. They are very versatile, and allow you to add or subtract layers based on the current weather without having to bring three separate jackets because who has space and time for that! It already has effectively kept me warm during freezing temperatures, and dry from sudden sprinkles of rain. I love the color - subtle enough for that everyday cute look, but bright enough to stand out if someone is looking for you. The only thing is that I wish that the inner layer was thicker and more plush - something difficult to convey online. This jacket should last me a while, but I would definitely buy again.

It's a little fluffy, cute, and warm. You can use it only as a raincoat, and I like that too.

I bought this item from REI. The price was decent. Bugaboo has been my long-time got-to winter coat. By that I mean I've been buying this coat since at least 1996. I love the interchangeability. My last Bugaboo, I bought in 2017, maybe? I loved it until it lost its waterproofing and the zipper got stuck. That wasn't until 2023, so it lasted a good few years. It was my favorite winter coat. Since my last Bugaboo bit the dust last winter (after winter coats were out of stock everywhere), I had to buy a new one. It took me forever to find one, as stores weren't stocked yet. Unfortunate timing, for sure! Anyway, I found the new one, and I don't really care much for it. I haven't even worn it, yet, but I did wash it. When it came out of the wash, the hook and loop had fastened itself to the coat fabric, ruining the fabric. I can only imagine what it will do to the clothes I wear under it. I guess I'll have to be really cautious about keeping the coat completely fastened at all times, in order to preserve my clothes. Replacing the outer snaps with hook and loop fasteners was a huge mistake. I am so disappointed in my purchase, and will likely switch brands, now. Columbia, please bring the snaps back.
