I bought the jacket a month and a half ago. But at 35F degrees it's cold in the jacket even with a sweater.

The coat is decent quality, but be careful with the recommendations for sizing on this item. I followed it and the coat is at least one size if not two sizes too big. I should have stuck with my true size. Im very disappointed because I bought it on sale and it will now cost me substantially more to buy the smaller size since there are no exchanges. Lesson learned Ill be returning it.

I love this warm and stylish jacket, i order the army green that is my favorite color and in medium size, but it's kind a little tight on me, and i need to return it and get the large size. i am lucky to find the size that i want it. it looks great after i received my second order,

Excellent jacket! I live in Minnesota and the temperatures have been very low, -12 F. This jacket has been more than perfect.

This is a lightweight coat that, with appropriate layering, is very warm and very comfortable. The sizing guide suggested an XS based on my measurements; I sized up to a Small to accommodate a heavy sweater. Even so, the coat was slightly snug under the arms. I love the shape of this coat, which is somewhat contoured. Unlike some other reviewers, I found that the hood stayed on and was well proportioned. I bought the inexplicably named Dark Stone, which is a beautiful pale cream color. (I chose the color based on the photographs.) I do wish the coat had two exterior zippered chest pockets, a convenient feature that allows the wearer to enjoy the outdoors hands-free. That it even lacks an interior pocket is my only real disappointment in this coat.

I am very happy with this jacket. It is so warm that for someone who is always cold, I was surprised to find find myself toasty warm when wearing it outside on walks with the dog. It is very well made and very good looking. I like having the option of wearing the hood. I ordered the deep blue color and am very pleased with the classy yet casual look. I have worn other Columbia jackets and always found them to be of excellent quality and last a long time. Because the jacket is described for Active wear, I ordered up one size from my usual size Small to a Medium. I can easily add a heavy sweater underneath with plenty of room and still not look like it is too big on me. I would recommend this jacket.

X Zippers on pockets not well made. Warmth is not as it used to be.

I love the coat, but it runs small. I love the hood and The overall shape of a coat.

Love the light weight of the coat and the Omni heat lining. Keeps you warm, without the bulkiness of having to wear a heavier and bulky coat to stay warm. Fits, snuggled as described, so Id suggest buying 1 size up for comfort or 2 for hoodies or sweatshirts you may wanna wear underneath.

I was so excited to get this jacket. I could finally afford what I thought was a great winter coat. This is the worst coat I have ever owned, and I am 65 yrs olf. I am freezing in this coat even at 32 degrees. wind goes right thru it. I thought that the omni heat would be great. I do not recommend this coat if you need to be outside in less than 40 degrees. I will never spend this much money on a Columbia jacket again. I was warmer last year in a $30 coat I got from Costco.

My Columbia rainjacket is a large and I bought this jacket as XL. I thought it would be too big but it fits just right. So, it runs smaller

I love yhe coat but sizing is confusing. Large is too tight, XL is too loose

I ordered this coat in Aug. 2024 before heading to college in Northern IA close to the MN border. I enjoy this coat and feel it keeps me warm well in the upper body to mid-thigh; however, I wish the diameter of the hood were smaller because the hood does not stay up, especially against the 30-50mph Northern winds. Putting a sweatshirt hood does help because of friction and making the space around the hood more minor, but my neck, ears, and face often freeze from the winds because the hood is too big to stay up (or my head is just small, lol). Some other coats I've seen encapsulate the head, leaving a space for the face out, which may look silly, but when the wind is so cold, you generally don't care how cute you look!

I purchased this for our trip up North (we live in the south, so normal northern temps feel extra cold to those of us who are use to much warmer temps). This coat was warm! I was very impressed. It does run small, so I had to send back my original purchase and get a size larger to accommodate for winter clothes underneath. But, this process was smooth. Customer service was very helpful.

The size fit perfect. I ordered an M size, I am 5.4 and 170 LBS . Is very warm jacket, is not bulky and the color is lovely, exactly as in the photos.

This coat is so warm and comfortable. Perfect for our trip to Alaska or anywhere cold. I highly recommend it!
