The coat is beautiful however way too small In the shoulder and arm area. Im disappointed.Im a 1x in most my coats ,so I bought a 2 x for more room ,and it dont fit . runs way too tight unless you wear a thin short sleeve shirt.

Once again another item that was not true to size. Still waiting on refund, been over 2 weeks since returned and had to pay for shipping to return. Will not purchase from LL Bean again.

Crazy sizing. Arms were tight and runs small. Returned waiting for refund.....

I love this jacket. I have the green and blue colored one and it is super cute and warm.

Jacket looked nice but was a small packaged in a medium marked bag. Ordered a new one, and returned the wrong sized one. A little disappointed.

Order 2 sizes up. I wear small, got a medium still too small.

I live in northern Washington state where high winter temperatures are normally in the forties but sometimes get as low as the high twenties. The fleece lining around the chest extends partway down the arms, but not so far as to make it difficult to slip into the sleeves. The fleece, along with the down, keeps me toasty warm. This jacket fits snuggly without feeling tight. I love the way the neck zips up comfortably around my neck, and fits snuggly enough to keep the wind out. The sleeves are extra long which means I can slip them over my hands on extra cold days. Other times I create a cuff to produce a quite stylish look as the lining that shows matches a different color in my jacket. I love this jacket and get a lot of compliments. The only thing I would ask for is more pockets. I have added two of my own on the inside, so Im good to go.

I really like this jacket but I am disappointed about 2 things. One is just a convenience - I'd really like an inside pocket as that's a perfect place for a phone or wallet. The other disappointment is how much it's losing feathers. I didn't expect that to be happening when it's brand new. I'd give it a 3.5 star rating but that's not an option. It is warmer than I thought it'd be and I'm happy about that!

Beautiful coat but too tight across the chest as other reviewers noted. Had to be returned. Hope the fit can be improved in the future.

Like this coat a lot! True to size, light weight and pretty. So far I am happy with the quality of LL Bean products.

The perfect mid weight for me, soft, and warm. Color choices were excellent too. Pockets zip and are roomy enough for my large phone, wallet, and keys. It comes down longer in the back to make sure you don't get the cold wind up/down your backside.

I'm very pleased with the warmth of this jacket. It's been cold here in the Northeast, and this is my go to jacket now for cold days. It's fitted just enough so I don't look like a tank, and it covers my backside (for reference I'm 5'4 and I purchased a regular/small - and the length is perfect) I like it more than I expected to.

Nice warm coat. Beautiful colors. Warmer than I thought and is great. Been hiking in it numerous times in drizzle and snow. Warm and dry

This thinner coat is warmer than I expected. I'm 5'4 115 pounds and got an x-small and still have room for sweaters or sweatshirts.

Just the jacket I was looking for. The jacket is very warm and comfortable. It's a very nice looking jacket.

It was to small and the lining came out of the sleeves. I returned it

There is no hood which would have been nice on windy days

The first coat I ordered had a strange odor.....like a wet dog. I contacted customer service and they promptly shipped me a new coat and gave instructions on returning the "smelly" one. The customer service rep said I could go ahead and wear it until the new one came. I appreciated that since temps dopped to zero degrees here in Minnesota. My new coat arrived, and I really like it! It's cute, fits true to size, and is toasty warm! I appreciate the excellent customer service!

Love the style and color of the jacket, but unfortunately it did not fit. I have one arm that is larger than the other (due to an accident when I was a kid). I couldn't get my arms into the sleeves of the jacket. I wish the clothing manufacters would make the plus size clothes all plus size not just the main parts. If they make something plus size be sure the whole item is plus size.

I needed a light weight jacket and this fits the bill! It is extremely comfortable and warm.

I am a size 14 and purchased a Large. I checked the size chart and size Large should have provided several inches of extra room in the chest. When it arrived I was disappointed. The size Large is way too small. The size chart says a large fits a chest size of 40-41 1/2 inches. I measured the jacket's chest area (inside the jacket, where it has to fit you) and it's only 34 1/2 inches. No wonder it does not fit. The sleeves were also very tight. I'm returning the jacket.

This jacket is very stylish, warm and comfortable.

This is a lovely, comfy jacket! That said, the flannel lining of the body of the jacket extends partway into the sleeves, and that catches at your sleeves as you put on the jacket. I'd also love to see an inner pocket.
