Great pants but wish for some changes for the next version. I would love if there were zippers down the sides of the legs (starting from right blow where a harness leg loop would be and end a little below the knee) for venting. And these are 'climbing' pants but when wearing a harness in them it feels like my crotch area is getting smashed. I have other pants that are not climbing specific pants, and they are way more comfortable and relaxed in the crotch area. So, I would love some new design around the crotch being roomier and more comfortable while in a harness (especially when sitting in the harness).

Great outdoor trousers. The fit is slightly tighter on the lower legs than the gamma (non-mx, former light) trousers but the upper part is roomy enough for good mobility, they fit well muscular legs. Great material, solid weather protection while still warm and breathable. Great pockets. The lace hook can be tucked in a fold when not needed, nice touch. The design of the new belt loop and press button is much better, the belt is now very unlikely to open by itself (an issue with the non MX gammas). As a great bonus, they do look pretty sleek and not unsightly at all if worn in town.

Perfect lightweight soft-shell for warm rock or summer glacier travel. The fit is back to a bit of a relaxed fit and the cuff of the pant fits nicely over a boot. I have purchased this pant many times over the years and will keep on doing so.

This is my eighth pair of these pants through the years starting in 2019. The first pairs are still in great shape. They have changed the snap button and the fly zipper since then and it's do-able but I'm not sure why they changed the fit so much on the revised pair. They are pretty baggy through the legs. Love the pants quality. Awesome product.

I now own 6 pairs of this Gamma pants, recently bought the Void & Dk Stratus, all size 30 and all fits perfectly well. Also own the Relic, Chloris & Relic colors. I used these pants for my hiking trips, recently in Patagonia for 100 miles. Quality is superb, walked through bushes and no scratches. Protects well again wind & rain as well. Love how much lighter these pants are, less weight on my back (backpack). The breathability & anti-stink technology is great for multiple days of wear.

Dark stratus color + additional water resistance make for a nice new version of a classic. Feels and fits exactly as my multiple other pairs of Gammas. My go to pant for guiding and climbing in everything from hot weather to Fall temps.

What is the purpose of the grommets on the hem? The model in the picture doesn't use them. Are they to run your shoelaces through? If so, they're a poor design. Didn't these used to have lace hooks? Bring those back!

I really like these pants. Durable and somewhat weather resistant. Fit is great for me and it's great that they come in several different colors and inseam sizes that are actually available. Slim fitting but enough room to move if you have outdoor athlete thighs. I like that there is no pocket on the back. You would only be sitting on what is in there. Only down side is the fly zipper is too short. Arc'teryx has done this on a number of their pants. I really can't figure out why they can't get this right. It's not that hard. Shorter than any zipper on any pants I have by many different outdoor and jean companies. It makes it really hard to relieve oneself with a harness on. Even without a harness you have to undo the waist so you can drop the pants a bit.

My only complaint is that the cut seems looser than the previous version, which is slightly disappointing.

Same great pair of pants, however, the new PFAS-free FC0 DWR change definitely wears out a lot quicker than previous pants. Pants are breathable and not too warm for those warm summer days. I've worn them in 85+ F with no problem. I wish they would just make the short inseam a lot more available.

Comfortable with no restriction in movements. Looks good enough to wear touring Paris and go trekking in Chamonix. Fits a bit on the large side.

Really loved the sizing of the my old Gamma pants. Tried on several sizes in the new Gamma pant. The new sizing / cut is narrower in the waist and wider in the butt and legs. Why would they change a winner design?

These are by far my favorite pants. BY FAR. However, after 2 pairs of these pants with the same issue occurring, I can't recommend these to anyone. The tape seam along the inner stitching starts to peel away after only a couple of washes. I even sent the second pair in for repair (I received a voucher for the first pair), and after having this issue repaired, it only took a few washes for the tape-seam to begin peeling away again. I don't do any strenuous activity, or anything intense while wearing these, just walking. Since I'm experiencing this issue again for a third time, I'm not sure how to proceed. I love the brand, and what it stands for, but this is a MAJOR issue for pants that cost $200

I own a climbing guide service and after using these pants for guiding and personal climbing days I decided to incorporate them into our company uniform. The pants fit well with the perfect amount of stretch for climbing, are durable, and look great. Over the years I've gone through lots of pants designed for climbing, and up until the Gamma Pant I hadn't found a pair that checks all the boxes for flexibility and is durable enough to stand up to 200+ days a year of climbing.

Super comfortable and durable feeling. GREAT active pant. I love the zippered and mesh-lined pockets. Cinch on the hem is CLUTCH! I also super love the lack of belt loops for backpacking, the waist band lays flat so no uncomfortable pressure points after a while!
