I don't know what's happening with running shoes but for those of us who are flat footed, need a wide toebox and want a springy ride, it's impossible to find a good shoe without compromising something. This shoe looked like clown shoes. Very wide in design, not necessarily in fit though with too much squish, not enough arch support and really unflattering on my feet. Back they went. Thanks Zappos for being so understanding. Finding running shoes has become a full time job.

The Hurricane 24 is very well padded and comfortable. However, for me the Hurricane 24 runs short in length. It is also much wider around the mid foot area than most medium widths, which was even a tad wide for my wide feet. I did not like that the shoe was short in length (but could not have gone a full half size larger), and that it made my feet look like I was wearing clown shoes.

Might run small. I’ve been wearing Hurricanes for years. This was the first time I’ve had to return and size up.

Liked the Hoka Transport but wanted more width and cushion without losing control in my stride. These are it! Plenty of width in the toe box and midsole with a stability and controllable cushion I couldn't find in the Hoka Bondi and Clifton.

I really love this shoe! I used to have the hurricane 22 then when I was about to get a new pair years later, Saucony released the tempus. Although I love the tempus, I'm happy to see the hurricane 24. I use this to run and for work. I am a nurse and I'm on my feet at least 12 hrs in the hospital walking around the busy ER. I am not after the aesthetic but it looks great to me. Similar feels when I had hoka before but this hurricane 24 I admit that looks a little chunky but I have a wide feet and I love the stability this shoe gives me. It depends on your purpose but this solved my aches and pains when I run so I am so happy with it. Best pair of running shoe yet.
