Loving this as a base and chill layer. Light, warm with a relaxed fit and loose enough I'm not trying to strip it off once I get out of the mountains

Purchased: size Large
Body type: 6'2'', 190 lbs with broad chest from weightlifting
Some reviews are critical of the sizing but I think it is excellent (I also prefer a looser / casual fit). More comfortable than Patagonia's R1 in my opinion - those can feel too tight around the arms and chest if any layers are worn underneath.
Design looks great. Material seems good, maybe not as soft or thick as a Patagonia R1. This is basically a slightly thicker version of the Arcteryx sun hoody.
Overall I'm very pleased. Try to get this on sale though as the price is a little painful.

I wear this thing all the time. Looks and feels great, and surprisingly warm for the low profile.

Piece of clothing my hand goes to everyday. Wish they had more colours so I could buy more. Sequoia anyone?

First impression is not what I was expecting in fit. The sleeve is more capped than older versions, there is more sleeve lift and less range working overhead, like climbing. Kind of baggy at the front shoulder, trim in back shoulder, lifts at the deltoid and pulls waist up. Cuffs ride up a lot, exposing wrists. Good for hiking, skiing and cosy base layer though.

The material and the design are great. I liked the fabric used on earlier versions of the Delta line much better but this still good. The fit is a bit roomy. I normally wear XL in Arcteryx products but I think I could have gotten away with a Large in this piece.

Very warm and lightweight. Pocket not quite big enough for a phone.

I love Arc'Teryx but I don't understand their fit logic, it's a gamble every single time I vary from size large to size SMALL depending on the piece. No other company I purchase from regularly has such variances in their fits I don't get it. This piece would be nice if I wasn't absolutely swimming in it, I usually take a large in Arc fleece apparel this thing is a very very relaxed cut. Looks like a little kid borrowed his dad's sweat shirt. I might try it again in a smaller size or I might write it off.

Perfect weight material as a single-layer for cold weather trail runs or ski tours. Dries fast and breathes well, while still being warm enough to get the job done in varying temperatures as you ascend and descend. This is a very lightweight grid fleece which is perfect for this use case. Also works as a light second layer over a base layer, but I bought it mainly for use as a single-layer for aerobic activity in variable temperature environments where I'm going to sweat a ton down low and freeze up high.
Really wish they still had thumb loops and a half-zip version of the hoody, then it would be a perfect single layer allowing you to really vent heat at at lower/warmer elevations and zip up/add hood/add sleeves over thumbs as you go higher. The jacket version of the hoody has pockets and full zip which adds a lot of bulk/thickness, and is not ideal as an against-the-skin layer. It's unfortunate they discontinued the half-zip version of the delta hoody.
It still beats most other layers I have tried for this use but getting those features back would make it so much better. I run hot. I want a zippper!
Also the colors are uninspiring. Black, gray, Halloween orange. I like bright colors just not orange. The old yellow was great. Something blue? Idk, anything but black and dull grey? Basically what was wrong with last years model? It had it all. Good colors, half zip, thumbloops. I'm frustrated I can't find it for sale anywhere, it was perfect so why the changes?

Good quality fabric and liked the design of the hood and collar. Apart from that a very poor quality fit. Way too loose around the sleeves, fabric bunches at the shoulders and arms etc. Not a good cut at all. Tried the L and liked it but was way too tight. XL - don't even go there. Who models these things?
