Absolutely LOVE these base layers! The merino wool is so so cozy, keeps you so warm and comfy, and don't smell when sweating in them all day :) I'll ride for 6-7 hours in these and they keep me dry and comfortable! The zip pocket is a great feature and i love the reinforced high-waisted fit!

I am a long-time user of your products and rely on them for work in high-alpine terrain. I really appreciate the durability and function behind your design, especially in changing weather and technical environments. Satoro Merino Wool The Satoro Merino hoodies are one of my most used base layers. I wear them across multiple seasons in alpine environments where temperature and effort level change quickly. I saw that the bottoms are now available as well. A 7/8 length version would be ideal for ski touring, since it would avoid interference with ski boots and improve comfort.

I am super happy with the fit and feel of these! The waistband is wide and doesn't dig in. The fabric is soft and warm. The pocket is great.

These are my go-to base layer for cold weather activities. Warm and the perfect amount of stretch.

I bought it in nov. 2023 for our trip to Patagonia! I totally loved it under my hardshell pants or even instead of a pijama during the cold nights in Tierra del Fuego. I only wished it was less transparent around the bottom, because I would love to wear it also as normal legging, that's how much I like it.

Overall love this product - I got it for christmas from my boyfriend. Though after one wear. Holes ripped along the butt seam. Three large holes. Thankfully I brought them to the store in Portland and they exchanged them for a new pair. Wonderful customer service there!!! I really want these to be longwearing but i fear the same thing will happen again.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
These are buttery soft, so luxurious feeling. However they are a bit transparent which is a bit too much for me. If you are going for a base layer that is always going to be covered I highly recommend, and can't imagine something more comfortable. I will be re-purchasing when I need such a pair.

I have been looking for comfortable and warm merino baselayer bottoms forever, and I think these will do the trick. I hate when bottoms have a super tight waistband than constricts my belly, and these fit more like high-waisted leggings. They were a tiny bit itchy at first, but after wearing them around for a few hours, it felt like they softened up. I had previously tried Le Bent's baselayer bottom, and those were way too itchy for me (despite their marketing). So I was very pleasantly surprised and relieved that these are almost 100% merino and not itchy. They're very warm and breathable. As other people have mentioned, they're slightly see-through (I have the Phantasm color), but I don't mind. ("Can you write that your boyfriend also doesn't mind?" -boyfriend). I think I could get away with it wearing a longer top/sweatshirt as well. The pocket is random and feels more like a style feature than function feature, but I don't mind. I'm not going to complain about women's pants having pockets :) My only complaint is that the very top of the waistband is a bit tighter than preferred. You can even tell in the model pictures that the waistband cuts in a tiny bit for them. I'm usually between a small and a medium, and I'm glad I got the medium in these. I'm 5'4 and they go right to the top of my ankle, so I'm glad they're not too long. If these were designed more like Le Bent's baselayer bottom waistband, these would be a 10/10. Overall, would recommend, and I'm hoping to get another pair eventually!

Itchy for me unfortunately, I knew I would never want to put them on and wear them skiing all day unfortunately.

Absolutely love my rho merino bottom, so I decided to order another pair. However now it's been revised to the Satoro merino bottom. The fit is almost the same, but the length is 3 inches shorter!! Now the stitching comes across my knee and is uncomfortable. Wish Arc'teryx would stop changing their products and sizing every year. Just make another style in boot cut like the synthetic ones now!

I have used it only two weeks intensely on two skiing holidays and some very cold days in the city, there are (multiple!) holes in the crotch. Insane for this amount of money
