I bought this two months ago for yoga purposes. I liked the fit but every move and poses I do the waistline is rolling down. I have to roll it up every time. It's kind of distracting. It does the same thing with size 2 and size 4 to me, so I believe it's not the size.

These are by far my favourite running tights and will be purchasing a second pair. These work well for my body type. They are comfortable and don't fall down. My favourite feature is the pockets, which are truly bounce-free. These tights are breathable and appear to be fairly durable.

So, I'm super picky with leggings, I've tried them ALL! I'm a size 14 so not small, and I just find even if they claim not too, they do several things: 1. They roll over the stomach whenever you bend down or do anything other than stand perfectly straight. 2. They loosen off as the day goes on and I end up having to constantly pull them up and get annoyed when for some reason the knee area goes kinda baggy until I wash them again. And 3. Because I'm such a hot running person they get too hot and start to bug me.
These somehow solve for ALL of that!! (And I had the previous version of these leggings and they didn't solve for these things either) but wow! SO impressed by these! The 14 fits true to size. No rolling over on the belly. I don't have to pull up constantly as the day goes on and they stay fitted all day! AND to top it off, the side panels are sort of a super fine mesh- you can't tell to look at but it's there- and is incredible for keeping me cool! I now want all the colours.

I love these pants, the waist line is one big pocket. I can put my phone, keys and dog treats in there.

It became my new favorite legging. It's so comfortable yet looks very durable. The fabric olds itself and doesn't look fragile. AND most important this legging is so comfortable and have a lot of pockets. I use it for yoga, running, day to day and so on. I would wear it everyday!! I'm thinking of buying another color. I own the shorts that I already loved so no surprise !

Enough pockets for pretty much everything, and nothing jostles or bounces when I run! I wore a pair of these for three straight days in the Tetons and adore them. Good support and compression, and perfect pockets on both thighs and waist. Plus, the waist pockets don't contribute extra bulk when not in use.

Great leggings for running. Provides good wind protection. Has great elasticity without constraining during movement. Has great pockets to fit credit cards, keys or a phone. Elasticity withstands many washes.

I've been using these tights for a while now on hikes and for other sports, and I really like them. They fit snugly, but the fabric is stretchy enough to move comfortably with you during any activity. One of the best features is the number of useful pockets perfect for stashing snacks, keys, or a phone. I also love the mesh paneling from the back of the knees down it really helps with ventilation and keeps you feeling cool, even during intense movement.

5'5" and typically wear 24-25 or 00-0 bottoms. I purchased a size 0 and it fits great. I've worn it both indoors and outdoors climbing and the rise is perfect for wearing a harness over it. Unfortunately tore a tiny hole after my third gym session wearing these so I'm not sure that the leggings are very durable, but the hole hasn't expanded since and I'm overall satisfied with the purchase.

Purchased the blue color, now moving on to my second pair (phantasm color). Both hues are true to the images. For your information, I am 5'5, 118lbs. I typically wear xs in Arcteryx and this fits as expected. The length is more of a 7/8, which I personally prefer. The material is highly durable and does not pill. It is slightly scratchy though and not much stretch to them. I personally do not utilize the pockets, but they could certainly be useful if necessary. I deducted one star due to the steep price. I highly recommend this product.

I wear these leggings almost daily for rock climbing and have been extremely impressed by their durability over time. Most leggings don't hold up well to climbing and abrasion on the rock but these do. They are super comfortable to climb in as they move and stretch well with you as you move. The high waist makes them fit nicely under a harness and your waist doesn't get exposed to cold air when moving and twisting with your arms up during a climb. I also like the side pocket for putting a phone in on the approach!

There are a lot of improvements from essent leggings in years past. The compression feels a bit more robust, they are really soft and are pill/tear resistant. The nylon/elastic combination gives a cool two-tone appearance and feel. They are comfortable, flattering and functional. Couldn't recommend more highly. I did go up a size, I normally wear a 0 in Arc'teryx pants and 2 in leggings, the waist on these has more structure and is a bit tighter. I felt more comfortable in a 4.

I wanted to like these. While standing still theyre nice, but once you start moving they do not hold up. I tried both a small and medium, they do not stay up when hiking or walking.

Big improvement from the first version! Unlike my previous pair, this version has a drawstring and stays put without the waistband rolling down. Love the mesh panelling on the legs. I'm 5"4, these are full length on me but if you're tall would be more like 3/4. Fits true to size.

I own two pairs of the Essent shorts and love them. I can run for hours in them without having to adjust them. I was hopeful the tights would be similar. I bought the same size I wear in the shorts but unfortunately they fall down continuously and I am constantly having to pull them up. I like the fabric and the pockets, but the fit is poor. The shorts seem to have a higher waist band the tights are lacking.

These do not work for running at all, they slide down every couple of meters. I would not recommend these for any type of active movement. I have found the same while climbing and also just everyday wear. Also the material is super shiny, at first I thought I'd get over it since the material seemed more durable, but its not super flattering. Fit and fabric need revision.

I wish I would love them. But no They are coming down while I'm running!! They do not stay in place even though I bought the right size. they are really low at the back. Bad really bad for a legging unfortunately.
