Be careful with these. As far as I can tell they have a bigger drop from front to back than the low Kopec ( I own both) and they are stiffer and there is a gap between the tongue and the shoe. The laces come undone and lose every 5 min and the cuff around the ankle offers no support. I found these incredibly painful to wear despite liking the low ones very much. I could not wear more than 2 km I had so much pain. I have contacted support with no response.

When I tried these on in the store I had no intention of buying hiking boots that day, but they were so comfortable I went for it. Now I've worn them on a bunch of dog walks at home and hikes in Sedona, AZ. Even more comfortable, flexible yet supportive, light, grippy, no notes. Haven't tried them in water yet but have it feeling it's going to be fine.

I used these shoes in different conditions (in the rain and in the snow) and they kept me warm and dry.

Hiking in Nevada means rocky, shifting, sandy terrain and these shoes give support to the ankle, grip the soil and have a nice wide toe box . That checks all my boxes for a perfect boot thats light enough for hot weather too.

I had been looking for waterproof boots for my trip to Europe in the winter time, i had plantar fasciitis and knee problems so i was looking for comfortable shoes. I had tried so many brands from sorel, ugg, Ariat etc, they either not comfortable enough or its hard to put on, i bought this boots just a couple days before my trip, no need to break them and they are comfortable. It kept my feet dry during tsin and snow, it kept my feet warm but if your toes is cold you can put feet warmer to keep your toes warm and toasty. Great product

These boots are much lighter than I expected. I recently took them up to Grouse, and they performed wonderfully on the snowno slipping and very steady. They've become my go-to for the rainy weather here in Vancouver. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for lightweight, waterproof shoes for winter adventures.

Working as a hiking guide in the summer these are my go to boots! The are tough and can handle countless hours of hiking on rocks and talus fields, however they are also light and comfortable for my feet. They run big on sizing and I typically size down a full size.

First time wearing them did a 16km hike. No pain or rubbing. I enjoyed how light weight and durable they are. I took a few steps into mud pits, foot stayed dry!

Lightweight, durable, and great traction on all hiking terrain. The style of these shoes are awesome. I have the black/void Kopec's with solaris laces. I also like that the boots have an athletic feel to them. Since they are light weight and fit to my foot well they almost feel like a heavier running shoe. I like putting on shoes that feel like I can be agile and ready for any adventure!

A fantastic option for almost everything! From daily wear to hiking ridges, a perfect shoe. Water resistant and stylish, not to mention super comfortable. I like this shoe for hiking personally or just walks in rough terrain.

I bought the Solitude Rune. Today I went for a walk in the dunes (Dutch Mountains) and on the beach in rainy weather. Perfectly waterproof, nice and warm. They are very light to walk on. I am happy with them.

I love my new orange boots, they are so trendy. I found them super comfortable on my first five mile hike. I am wearing them in the daytime on normal activities too. Having worn them out in persistent rain I can confirm they are fully waterproof. These are not a full boot which makes them easy to get on/off. My laces have not come undone so far but you could tie them in a double bow if necessary. The only downside is I think they will not keep my feet warm in the winter.

As a longtime lover of the Aerios series and notably the mid hiking boot, I'm a bit sad that these have essentially replaced them
I really wanted to love these too. Aesthetically they look pretty rad. But as far as overall performance and fit not doing it for me. Here's why:
- Yes the sole is stiffer and definitely does "perform" better in shifting terrain as per description, so that's a plus. But for me that was already accomplished with the Acrux TR which I much prefer as well. Overall, my feeling while wearing these is "clunky".
- the tongue and upper are a miss for me. There's too much space on the sides of the tongue that allow water and rocks / debris to get in. That plus the loose lacing make anything off of manicured trails less enjoyable. Could benefit from extending the tongue and adding additional hooks for lacing. Because of this I feel like there's very little ankle support, and you may as well just get the shoe.
- the fit and break-in. Due to stiffness of sole they need longer to break in compared to Aerios but similar to Acrux TR. Many reviews suggest it's a narrow fit, I didn't quite feel that but I think the stiffness of the material maybe adds to that feeling.
Again I realllly wanted to love these! But I'll be waiting for the Aerios and Acrux series to return.

Fine city shoes but I would not take these on a hike. I wore them on a city hike on a rainy day and came home with wet toes. I'm going to venture a guess that the waterproofing does not completely cover the tongue of the shoe. Given that these are sold as waterproof hikers, I'd expect to be able to wear these on a very rainy day and have dry feet. I would not wear these on a camping or hiking trip.

Uncomfortable! Didn’t feel shoes have adequate support. Feet hurt and felt like walking on cement.
