Shoe itself seems much more durable than its non-insulated predecessor, and it's super cushy and warm! Sizing was frustrating to work through, however. I normally wear a size 8 shoe in everything, and the lack of color options for the women's Kragg led me to order a size 7 in the men's. The reviews all state the shoe runs extremely small, and the size chart claims the men's size 7 is the same as a women's size 8 so I assumed it would either fit or even run small. I was wrong. It was massive and my foot was swimming in the shoe. Sadly returned the cool desert tan men's Kragg to order a black W7.5 that fit better with some wiggle room for cozy socks. So contrary to other reviews, I actually found the shoe runs a bit large.

I feel like the copy leads you to believe this shoe can be used for sport more than it is designed to do. This is essentially a sleek outdoor slipper. The insole is *plush*, the uppers seem relatively water resistant, and the thicker sole is fashion forward. I would run errands in them, walk my dog, meet friends for a beer. My original intent was to find an insulated shoe for city bike rides. The Kragg is a little too casual for my usage and I'm ultimately looking for an insulated mtb shoe.

I'm obsessed with how stylish they look! They took a little getting used to at first (not the easiest to slip on), but once they're on, the thick insoles make it totally worth the effort. I wore them on a trail with a small stream running down the path, and they held up amazingly well. After a few hours, I did feel a bit of a heel rub, so while they're perfect for long days of standing, they're not ideal for all-day hikes.

The boots were tried on for only a few minutes and immediately caused severe blisters. They were promised to be soft and comfortable, but in reality, they were completely unwearable. Customer service refused to take them back.

As an alpinist, I've put my Kragg Insulated Shoes through damp approaches and basecamp evenings. The primaloft insulation and Aerogel midsole deliver good warmth without excess weight, while the Vibram sole holds up well on wet rock and uneven ground. Slip-on ease suits quick transitions from climb to camp, though sizing runs snug for thicker socks.

I feel like I'm doing arcteryx a solid by adding photos of the Kragg on a womens feet because I scoured the internet and haven't been able to find any photos and I wanted to see what it would look like on a model. So here you go.
I like the fit, I have Sylans in size 7 and love them, but wanted some comfy winter shoes, I got the high top Kraggs in size 7.5 because I think I'll be wearing regular thickness socks or thick socks with them. I initially put them on with high socks, the fit a little snug and with ankle socks, they fit well and my heel comes up a little bit, but with time I think Ill get used to the feel. Im pretty sure i went with the right size (half a size up), but I cant confirm because I didnt try the 7 or 7.5 on in atire juat onlined ordered. These, I just got delivered today so I don't know how they will hold up, so more of an initial review. Comfy insole, easy to get on using the back tabs, a tinyyyy bit roomy, but like I said, I went half a size up on my regular size, size 7. Cute colour and they look clean. I think eventually the top fabric that goes over my foot will pill, but we will see! I'd recommend for comfy winter coffee run or dog walk shoes.
