I own a lot of Arc'teryx gear and clothes, and love all of it, except these new Kopec GTX shoes, which I'm returning. For me, these are a poor fit. The shoe is a full size wrong for me: I'm a US 12 and the Kopec that fits me is a US 13. The width is too narrow for me to use, even in the larger size. For me, these are poor quality. The glue is messy along the seams. The sole and insole don't work well together, for me, because the sole is hard and the insole is so thin. The laces don't go high enough, especially for any kind of hiking. For me, the customer service has been poor. Many emails going back-and-forth due to Arc'teryx losing an order, then refusing to do a return via FedEx/UPS/USPS/DHL, then refusing to do an in-store return , then refusing to refund for a pair of shoes that the shipping company never delivered. Five orders, all had problems. So far, two orders have been refunded, and three orders are still to do.

Comfortable shoe, but fit on the small side of the chart. The toe protector is not very solid and separates from the fabric where the shoe bend. Not good quality in that aspect (I have two pairs and both did it). Good grip even on humid rocks/trail. Easy to clean.

Really like the shoe but you will need to replace the insole for any casual comfort.

These shoes look good but like the Kopec boots I found the fabric very stiff. I also found that they run a tad narrow which restricts which socks I can wear, certainly not giving toes room to splay as advertised in the spec

Great shoe for hiking and rainy weather and it is a very comfortable shoe.

This new shoe build gets better. With a wider toe box for wider front feet for toes to spread when walking/hiking, so it had the effect to lower the fatigue of the feet. Additionally, the platform is so stable and supported with a bit of sock-like slide in feel so the shoe wraps pretty comfortably and able to wear them for long hours.

Colourway is awesome; but this shoe is not for me as I have sunken arches and the wider toe box than the aerios made them feel less supportive. They look to be very well made and the addition of the abrasion strip on the inner side of the upper would have suited my usage to a tee
