The boot seems like a quality boot, but there's a hard, stiff seam that rubbed the top of my heel when I walked. I wore the boots around the house for a bit to see if the stiff seam would get more comfortable, but it just felt worse. Even with thick socks, I think that hard seam would be uncomfortable (and cause a blister?). So I returned the boot. I wear a size 10W and they fit very well. They were a little hard to get on, but that didn't bother me too much. Only the seam did.

Ive been wearing the Minx snow boots well over 15 years. Theyve always kept my feet warm but the sole on the previous models didnt have much support and wore down after two years. I could still wear them but I needed more support in my foot once I hit 40. But I kept buying them. To my surprise, This model has a thicker, sturdier sole and Im positive theyll keep my feet toasty and dry in the NYC weather. SIZING: The old style I had a size 7, which ran a bit short for me. They were also very narrow. This time I bought 7.5 wide and the width is great! I wouldnt consider them a true wide. Just a wide for people that gained weight in their legs & feet. I probably could have gotten a 7 wide but I could wear a sock and be comfortable with the 7.5W. I have thicker legs with a 19 calf and these got me just fine. DISCLAIMER: if you have sweaty feet these are not for you! Theyre supposed to keep your feet warm in below zero temps and retain heat. I once thought the boots leaked but it was actually my foot sweating. The boot itself was not wet on the inside.

The ankle part of the boots has a hard lump that rubs against the back of my ankles and has left red sores! Who designed this boot? Ridiculous!

Not "quite" as comfortable as past Columbia snowboots, but still fantastic. I would love to see a wider toe box and a version without the fur at the top.

I brought these boots for my wife. She loves the overall look of the boots. The nice fit she feels when she puts them on. Loves that she does not have to wear two pairs of socks to stay warm. She came in the room hollering, and they are waterproof. I replied, glad you are happy with them....

Lightweight, good traction. Order your running shoe size. Excellent purchase.

These were a great purchase! Definitely worth it for casual to moderate cold weather and snow, as my feet and calves kept warm and dry. The grip is great for walking on icy spots as well. Even with the extra warmth, the boots feel lightweight when I walk, and I had no issues adjusting for driving.

Runs small. And light color doesnt match the one on the picture

I used these boots for a winter trip to Finland and Norway. They were wonderful in every way! Comfortable, warm but not hot, kept my feet comfortably dry and had great traction.

Sturdy soles, good grip and not too narrow at the base. Nice and warm in the snow, but not too hot if you head inside. They are traditional lace-up.

Columbia does it again! as usual these boots are phenomenal, comfy, warm and affordable. As someone with high arches, these boots are super comfortable.

I bought a pair of boots like these a couple years ago, theyre very comfortable and warm. I recently bought what I thought it was the same pair of boots but form my surprise they were not as warm and comfortable as my first pair.

I bought these a couple weeks ago and these are absolutely the worst boots I have ever owned, my feet do not stay dry, they hold in excess moisture, and the ankle bit cuts in and blisters. Horrible horrible horrible purchase

I bought these boots to wear while Im walking the dogs or using the snowblower. And also to wear when I go up to the ski mountain or sledding with the grandkids. They are nice in formed fitting and are not big or clunky at all. They are also very warm. There is room to wear some cozy socks too. I usually wear a size 8 1/2 or 9 and I ordered a size 9. Really easy to lace up.

These were a gift for my mother and she loves them.
