True to size. Perfect fit. Learned there are currently two different manufacturers of this boot, China, Vietnam. The ones ordered from Zappos stated made in China, fit better than the usual bulky platforms. Ordered another pair with a better price from another seller. The same boot, yet the fit was not as formed to my foot. Noticed the owns made in China are form fitting. Comparing the two the ones made in Vietnam are more of a unisex, less form fitting. Had no idea there was a difference, it is slight yet the ones from Zappos have a better fit. The Zappos boot is one the right in the photo. Ordered another pair from a different seller the price point being lower to save money. Wish I would have settled for the pair from Zappos. The others will be more of a hassle to return. I would definitely order these from Zappos for form fitting feel, look.

If your normal size is a 9.5 but sometimes you can fit into a size 10, I am warning you...do NOT buy a size 10. They were HUGE on me and had SO much space around my feet. A size 9 fits perfectly. I am obsessed, they are the most comfortable shoes ever :)

I usually wear a womens size 8.5 in boots, and I ordered these in an 8. They fit perfectly with decently thick socks on. I can already tell there will be a long break-in period but that's expected from Docs. Really recommend these.

Classic docs comfort. They do run small compared to my others. I wear a 6-6.5 US women and a 5 men’s and thick socks fit fine.

These are great but I didn't think I'd wear them much so returned them. I didn't wear them outside of the house because felt the shaft digging into my calf. Really, it's was a style issue more than comfort. Doc sandals in a size 35 fit me beautifully.

I have 5 pairs of DMs. I always wear UK5 and this pair was no different. I found these to be very comfortable. When I first put them on they feel really stiff but after about 15 minutes my feet melt into them and there is no problem. The first time I wore them was at a wine festival for 10+ hours and they were fine! I always get compliments on how cool they are. DMs are so timeless so these will always be in style! I can’t wait for more colors to come out. The platform is so cool looking!

These boots are excellent all year around, This leather is soft and the color is beautiful, This is my 6th paid of Martens. They last forever!

These were a gift for my granddaughter. She loves them! said she wears them everyday.

Loooove these. I purchased my typical size 7 and they fit wonderful. NOTE: For those having a hard time breaking in. The smooth leather is definitely harder to break in and is not as comfortable as the Napa leather. If you’re buying your first DMs I’d suggest going with the Napa leather 1460s unless you totally understand there is a definite uncomfortable break in period.

This is a unisex shoe, so it was very large even in the smallest size on my tiny feet. However, thanks to a thin arch support insole and thick socks, I can make them work. The side zipper makes them much easier to get into/out of than other DM styles I own. I love the added height from the platform, too!

These fit as expected. My right foot is larger and much wider than my left so I was worried about fitting one foot or the other. These are comfortable on my smaller left foot and a bit snug, though not uncomfortable, on my right. Breaking them in has been a little more rough than other Docs, just because the platform causes you to walk differently and so the ankle doesn't flex in quite the same way.

Love these boots! I am about to turn 60 and I wanted them but didn't want to feel foolish wearing them. Let me say this- I don't feel foolish at all! They are stylish, comfortable and perfect! Happy Birthday to me!

To damn big. I am size 5 vans in womens and the smallest size 5 of this shoe was not small enough.

Other than the leather being very stiff and laces were pretty short, these fit very well and look great.
