I ordered Cherry Red Arcadia. They are beautiful, glossy, very dark almost black. Like a really really really dark plum in patent leather, if that helps. (I don't think they are truly patent leather, but it has that look) I returned them bec I wanted red boots and the red Pascal was more what I wanted. But I still give them 5 stars. If you wanted a patent leather look but slightly different than black, they would be perfect. Very comfy, not too stiff, fit true to DM size. (which to me means DMs are 1/2 size big, for instance a UK 5 = US 7.5) I am a 7 so I order UK5 and wear thick socks. BTW, they fit and look exactly like the Pascal, so take a look at that one too.

I love these in the Victorian floral. Unfortunately, I need leather boots to wear on my motorcycle (canvas just won't last) and I didn't realize these were canvas. I usually wear an 8 but I took a 7 in these (tried the 8's -- too big). Doc Martens need to be broken in but once they are they rock. Wish I could afford these and the leather ones because they're super cute (they come with extra pink ribbon laces, too).

I absolutely, love these Docs! The color of the background is more taupe than you would assume from this picture, but that is a good thing!

I love these boots! I bought them as a summer shoe (I live in Seattle). They were comfortable right out of the box, and look great with shorts, jeans, skirts. I get compliments whenever I wear them.

They are more comfortable that I remember my last pair of Dr. Martens being. I ordered a half size down from my normal size because it was all that was offered and they fit great, I have plenty of wiggle room for my toes. They also came with a pair of pink faux silk laces to make them extra girlie.

This shoe is my daughter's first real serious boots as she goes to high school, and I'm taking no chances. If she was stepping off into the tough world out there, I was going to outfit her in tough shoes which hopefully will last her some years. The red is subtle enough to get noticed, but not really screaming too much attention. It's a little shinier that I would have liked, but hopefully, she'll get used to the stares. I'm wearing it out a little bit for her, because the leather is a little stiff. But I know DMs as I have 3 cherished pairs; these boots will feel like wearing sneakers after some wearing. And of course, the classic yellow stitching. I just hope she can rock the attitude well. Good thing Zappos still has her size...it's hard to find it anywhere else after winter!

These are great and really comfortable! They run large and it's a lot easier to loosen the laces on a slightly tight fit. Try on a couple of sizes and take the time to loosen them.

Bought these for my daughter in CA. I had tried to get them at two other online companies in time for Christmas with no success. The salesperson at Zappos was great and my daughter received the boots a couple of days before the holiday. She loves them. The size 8 was true to size and we both were happy!

Bought these shoes for my 16 year old daughter for Christmas. Product was exactly as she expected. She loves them. Has small foot and they fit perfectly.

Fit is excellent and true to size. Wear a US size 9, and the UK 7 fits well. Quality seems to be good.

I'm usually a a woman's 9 and I ordered the 8 in these. They fit great, even with thick socks. When I first wore them I was discouraged because I got horrible blisters, but I took a hair dryer to the stiff parts while the boots were on, walked around and wiggled my feet while they were cooling down, and now everything fits perfectly! They're super comfortable and perfect for the rain and snow.

These are the coolest. You'll want insoles though; Dr. Martens aren't really comfortable without them. You also need knee socks; these boots aren't too comfortable on skin. What I like about these is that they match everything while being a cool alternative to black or brown.

These boots are even prettier in person. My granddaughter loves them. Sizes run true. Quick delivery by Zappos.

I love these boots! They are tough while still feeling feminine and I have received tons of compliments on them. They are great in the rain and very comfortable. I ordered them a size up and found that they are a little big. I would buy them true to your regular size.

Zappos is the best! I accidentally bought the unisex black smooth 1460 boot first. When they arrived, I was absolutely heartbroken seeing them and trying them on. They were huge. The toebox was too big, the width was to wide, and the boot overall just looked like a rough, men's boot. I looked like a clown. Devastated, I immediately called Zappos. The woman I got on the phone was an absolute angel! At first, I was going to just return them and order them off the Doc Martens website. However, she walked me through the site until I found these babies. (I originally thought the W stood for "wide" and not "women's") and they are beautiful. She even upgraded me to nest day shipping for free which is great because I was going to wear them to a concert the next day! I'm literally in between US size 9.5 and 10. So I went with the UK 8 and it seems great! I have some room to move around but I just wear some medium thickness socks with them and they're perfect. The nappa leather is much easier to break in so your feet don't have to get so beaten up the first few days. I highly recommend these boots and this awesome site with they're amazing customer service. Zappos rocks!

Awesome boot. Flashy without it being in-yo-face. I think they run slightly large, but if you wear 1/2 sizes, probably best to order up. (I wear an 8.5, ordered a US 9 womens, and have wiggle room, but not enough to order down.)

The Black Nappa 1460W is the perfect Doc! The 1460 is too wide and these will be perfect once broken in. This is my second pair of Nappa docs, and they break in much faster than the smooth leather and are more comfy straight out of the box. The seam attaching the tongue pushes on the upper foot until broken in, but it will get looser and they will mold to your foot like all good leather. I'm usually a size 10.5-11 in boots, but the UK 8 is perfect. I also own the 1460 Nappa and the UK 8 in that style is longer and wider than these. I feel these are much more "shaped" for a woman's foot than the 1460. Definitely size down if you're between sizes, and they will stretch and mold to fit your foot with a little wear. I think someone with a wide foot should opt for the original 1460 because these are average width. My feet were swimming in the 1460, and they gave me more of a clown feet vibe. These are very attractive, slimmer cut for a female or narrow male foot, and the leather is sumptuous. If you're a female with an average width foot and can't decide which docs to buy, go with these! They look great with shorts, jeans, leggings and dresses, these boots are pure biker/rocker chick and bad to the bone. :)

I was hesitant to buy another pair of Docs, having had several pairs in college, all of which hurt like crazy during the month-long break-in period. But, after I wore through the sole of my Skechers boots this summer, I needed something, so I decided to take a chance on these. I haven't regretted it. There's been basically no break-in period with these boots. I wore them for a couple of hours each day the first two days I had them, and my feet were comfortable each time (I also threw some heel cushions in, but I do this with most of my boots). So I decided to try them for a full work day, and they were great -- I found them very comfortable to walk in. I've had them now for nearly a month, and wearing them nearly every day I've had no problem with blisters or other pain. I will say that there's only minimal cushioning in the foot-bed, so I'm looking around for a good pair of insoles for these to make them a bit more comfortable on long days. But overall I'm really happy with these boots.

Fantastic boots. These were immediately comfortable and did not require any breaking-in period at all. Soft leather, excellent style.

I just got these in the mail and love them! They do need to be broken in and get that great worn look, but other than that I am happy. One of the things I was worried about when I ordered them was that they would look big and bulky. But they really don't. It's actually rather narrow. Maybe from the side it is a big bigger but looking down at them, they are super slim. The Floral etched in adds a cool girlie factor, which I really like. I am hoping to order the full on floral printed ones for Christmas. And I will probably try a size 9. I had to order a 10 in these, because that was all that was left--and I wear 10 in boots usually. They are only a tiny bit big, but will fit great with socks.

These shoes are amazing. I just don't want to take them off! They fit great, i got a us size 10 and have a little room in them, but nonetheless they are comfy. This is a great shoes and Zappos has great service!

Normally my docs are 1 size smaller (woman's 9 and I usually wear a 10), these I ordered for woman's 10 and they fit great. At least with Zappos it isn't a pain to change if you guess wrong. Comfortable, sturdy. Have to mess with all the laces to get them on and off. I wanted leather boots for riding a motorcycle that weren't steel toes and I wasn't ready for ugly racing style boots so these are perfect because I can be comfortable walking around in them too.

I love them! As soon I received them I was surprise 'cause they have them packed very well! I am really happy with Zappos and also they shipped super fast!
