This design is skinnier than the typical old-skool shoe. So, I've purchased a shoe that is pinching my foot a little, and I've worn it for a day and can't return it... Not sure why vans would use a different soul design than their normal. I'm 52 years old and have been wearing vans my whole life because they are typically good for my foot.

I love how much they resemble the old upland style. Those were my first vans and I loved them so much. These unfortunately are too tight for me around the toes. Compared to pictures of the upland shoe, that one was designed better at the toes. I will try a size up but for my slightly wider feet I don't have high hopes.

This is my new favorite shoe. It looks great and is super comfy. I was looking for a 90's retro skate shoe that was a little chunky to wear with baggy jeans so my feet didn't look tiny, and the Hylane shoe totally checks that box. And since I was only planning to wear them with jeans, i was really surprised at how good they look when wearing shorts too, which I wasn't expecting at all. I just wish they had more colors and more availability in size 13. Most of the available sizes are for kids not adults, which is a shame considering how awesome these are. Some of the colors they have over seas are so sick, but unfortunately the Vans website doesn't seem to allow over seas shipping. Buy these with confidence (if you can find your size), you won't be disappointed. VANS, PLEASE MAKE MORE COLORS & ADULT SIZES OF THESE. AND IF YOU HAVE A PAIR OF HYLANE VARSITY BLOCK IN BLUE/BLACK HIDDEN IN A VAULT SOMEWHERE, I'll BUY THEM IMMEDIATELY :) #sweepstakes

Really comfortable & I love the retro chunky skate look, but most size 13 are out if stock. I wish some color options from UK were available here.

My daughter loved her first pair so much, that we just had to get a second pair in a different color. Very comfortable and goes with anything!

Bought these on sale even though I don't like the black outline around the logo. My true size is 8 2E, my last Vans was size 8, and took a few weeks to break in. Bought these in size 8.5/EU 41 and they fit perfectly.

I love vans I've been wearing them since the early '70s besides work boots that's all I ever wear and I love these that I got for very good price very happy with that always quality shoes last long time thank you vans

ive been wearing this shoe for about 2-3 weeks every other day or so. ive noticed its quite durable and comfortable as well (although its dependent on how you lace the shoe) i would definitely buy another color of the hylane shoe.

I've worn these Vans my whole life; they're perfect and comfortable for many adventures, offering both quality and comfort. From the 80s until today, it's only Vans on my feet.
