This design is skinnier than the typical old-skool shoe. So, I've purchased a shoe that is pinching my foot a little, and I've worn it for a day and can't return it... Not sure why vans would use a different soul design than their normal. I'm 52 years old and have been wearing vans my whole life because they are typically good for my foot.

I love how much they resemble the old upland style. Those were my first vans and I loved them so much. These unfortunately are too tight for me around the toes. Compared to pictures of the upland shoe, that one was designed better at the toes. I will try a size up but for my slightly wider feet I don't have high hopes.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. The padding around the heel and tongue helps prevent rubbing, and the insole offers decent support for everyday walking. If you're someone who's on their feet a lot

I skate in these regularly but they also look great with casual wear around town. They are well built and super comfortable. I have yet to wear a pair out but I'm sure they are durable enough to last a while.

I didn't expect to like the Vans Hylane this much, but they're honestly so good. They look clean, feel really comfy, and go with almost anything I wear. Wore them all day and my feet felt fine. Definitely a new favorite

I wear these classics as a daily wear. They are like wrapping your feet with pillowy clouds. They take me back to my more active youth. I guess, in some ways, I'll never grow up :)
