I own a pair of the Swellsole Neptunes and absolutely love them with the fold down heel - super comfy and a great go-to easy slip on shoe for spring/summer. I hoped these would be the same with a slightly thicker upper for fall/winter. While the shoe is light and comfortable when worn with the heel up, whenever I put my feet in the shoes the tongue gets pushed into the shoe and I have to try to retrieve it and pull it out. The fold down heel is also not as comfortable as the Neptune, it seems there's a ridge along the outside that will dig into my heel.

I've never bought shoes from reef before - only sandals. These shoes did not disappoint, if its a super rare occasion where I have to wear shoes and not sandals, these are the only ones I'll grab.
