These are very comfortable once you get them broken in a bit. I use these on trails and grass paths and while they are a little bit chunkier than I'm used to, they fit and give the cushion that I need! My back doesn't hurt after a few miles of trail or park walking!

Like the cushion and the grip.Dont have as much cushion as my ghost max which is a bit too much for me but they feel kinda like my beasts which are my favorite only with alot more traction for the loose trails

They feel great! I love the slightly wider area in the toe area as compared to my earlier Divide model. Great support all around the foot, and the tread pattern has more individual treads along with being a bit wider. A fantastic model, now; don't change anything!

Perfect for what I needed (a senior who does easy to moderate hikes). The extra cushion was great for hikes along the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia and in Acadia, Maine. Made our vacation/road trip enjoyable and kept the old feet comfortable.

Very comfortable running shoe. Have not owned a Brooks shoe in over 20 years. Well made, good looking(does matter to me) and good performing. Did 6 miles in them right out of the box. At times I wasn't even mindful of them. that alone is a testimony of form and function. Ready for another model soon.

Firm but comfortable sole. At first, I was concerned they were too firm but as I wear them more I dont even notice that now. Good stability for trail running. Not too heavy. Great price for what you get.

I'm one week in - break in period - and so far, so good. I'll be walking the Portuguese Camino in October, so will know more after that. A lot is riding on these shoes!

This is my favorite trail runner from Brooks. I now have 2 pairs of the Divide 4 GTX, one pair of the Cascadia 17s and this new pair of Divide 5s. For me, the Divide is a much better fit than the Cascadia. It is not as tall, it is more snug, and it is far less noticeable on my foot. All of my shoes are size 10. The Divide does not move around at all on level ground. It holds my foot better on sharp declines, I don't slip into the front of the shoe as much. The thing I like best about the Divide is that I simply don't notice it once it's on. Not as much cushioning, not as many touch points on my foot, it just performs. I love this shoe. I will say, from October of last year to about March of this year I wore the soles almost flat on my Divide 4 GTX (hence the second pair). The trails are rugged around here (Rocksylvania, in the Wilds) I get about 4.5 daily miles (mix of road and trail) during the week and stretch to 8 miles a day of trails on weekend hikes. I walk, run, and hike in these shoes.

Dig it. Arch height has confirmed to fit me even better and traction is perfect for my light trail runs. Personally, Id like it a touch more responsive on the cushioning side, but think most would prefer it the way it is.

My husband got to test these shoes. He said the fit was true to size and wasnt to snug anywhere. The colors arent to bold so he can wear them to run errands as well as going outside with the family for adventures. The fabric has a soft material inside so it shouldnt rub causing blisters. He said his least favorite was that it has a harder soul compared to other shoes hes worn, so thats why he rated a 3 star.

The Divide 5 are nice and snug and great for trails. Heel is locked in, while the middle of the shoe is comfortably snug and the toes have plenty of space to move and breathe. The traction can't be missed and makes this a great shoe for trails but it's too sticky for me to take it to the roads. The feel is pretty comparable to a road shoe, just a little heavier, but it breathes quite nicely. It moves well and provides good support. I'll give these plenty of use and have high hopes of them holding up well.

These Divide 5s are awesome. Ive been wearing them daily for work, around the house, outside chores and a few short runs for the week since I got them, and they are my new go-to. They felt a bit narrow at first, but just needed a wear or two to stretch and feel great now. Ive worn and run in a size 12 from Brooks before, and these fit great in a 12 as well. They feel very comfortable and supportive, but not too heavy. They feel nice and grippy on the bottom which will be great for hikes/trail running, but they dont look too bulky; theyre low profile enough to still wear around town as well. The fabric feels like a good quality, very durable. Wouldnt change a thing. Excited to hit the trails in them soon.

I recently tried this pair of Brooks running shoes which have proven to be a solid choice for my daily runs. The shoes fit true to size, though I found them to be slightly wide, which might be a consideration for those with narrower feet. While the design may be a tad dated in terms of style, it more than makes up for it with exceptional comfort and stability across various terrains. One of the standout features is the fabric, which is light, breathable, and moisture-resistant, making it ideal for running in different weather conditions. The lightweight material helps to keep my feet cool and dry, which is a huge bonus during long runs. Additionally, the sole provides excellent stability and cushioning, which offers robust support and prevents my feet from getting sore even after extended periods of use. Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, these running shoes are a great investment for anyone looking for dependable and comfortable footwear for their runs.

When I first tried on the Divide 5 I noticed that the cushioning level was comfortable and a little more on the firmer side. The colors of the shoe were colors I wold typically be drawn to. While running trails the dirt wont show as much as the colors aren't on the lighter side, which is good. The fabric is breathable but sturdy, maybe a little thicker than I would typically choose for an everyday running shoe, especially in the typical warmer climate of where I am located. I think for trail running or more rugged terrain this is a positive as the sturdy fabric should hold up better in the conditions. I did like that the shoe had good cushioning but was a little firmer than you might find with a long distance shoe. Overall, I am happy with the shoe and it is still pretty versatile for runners.

I am a female neutral runner. I generally road run, but do occasional trail running as well. My favorite shoes transition easily from road to trail and these do exactly that. They are wider in the forefoot than I am used to, but my feet were comfortable and felt secure. They had enough cushion to feel good, but not too much that they felt unstable. My daughter plays soccer so we are on the fields often and I also love to wear these casually because they feel so darn good. They have good traction and I never felt like I was going to slip, even when conditions are a little wet or muddy. Color combination was very nice - dark color so they work well with the navy and black I usually wear. I am an 8.5 in womens sizing and the mens 7 fit perfectly, followed the size guide exactly. Overall, I would highly recommend these shoes. Ive owned this brand before and they wear well and last a while.

My husband loved the fit and chill colors of this sneaker. Hes a chef and spends most of his days in his feet. He said these sneakers feel like supportive clouds and are his new favorite. Fit true to size. The material is easy to wipe clean. These sneakers are comfortable enough for all day use. Simple design makes them easy to pair with different styles of clothing.

I am so happy to find a shoe brand that is super comfortable for everyday wear like for days at the gym or a quick walk with the kids. The shoes are just right in fit they do not feel tight and run true to size. I have issues with shoes feeling tight in the center area but fit me right length wise. With these shoes the fit is perfect I dont get that bothersome tight feeling at the center of my feet and I was able to wear them for long walks and workdays. I have 12 + hour work days and finding comfortable yet stylish shoes is important for me. Not an easy task to do when shopping for new shoes because I like certain styles/designs for my shoes. Luckily these shoes check off my list of wants/needs for picking my shoes. I love the color combo modern look of this shoes and its a plus that they are very comfortable. Theres nothing to change about these shoes they are awesome shoes that Ive gotten compliments on at work. The Design is perfect along with the fabric that keeps your feet feeling fresh and dry. I like the fabric a lot doesnt feel like my feet are sweating inside the shoes or feeling uncomfortable while wearing them. I highly recommend to give this shoes a try. I am so happy to wear the Divide 5 shoes to my work or just anytime because I know Ill be comfortable throughout my long days at work or playtime with the kids. Just awesome shoes over all very versatile.

Let me start by saying I just recently got into running; I havent been doing this long but needed some cardio to supplement weight lifting on my health journey. I may not be an expert on the latest and greatest running shoe but these worked very well for me. I run on the road in our neighborhood or on the greenway trails and these shoes offered great support, especially in the heel and arch. The fabric was very breathable, my feet didnt feel hot or constricted even in the June heat. I really like the design and have even gotten several compliments on how good they look while wearing out and about. They are slightly tight around the middle of my foot and I dont typically wear wide shoes, so maybe pay close attention to width if youre wary of that. Overall its a great shoe and Im excited to use it more as I gain my footing (haha) in this new hobby.

My husband is in his early 30s and has been a runner all of his life. He runs on paths, roads, and a variety of terrain. In the past he has had two knee surgeries. Shoes are very important to him while he runs. These Divide 5 shoes offer my husband the support his body needs. His favorite part about this product is the comfort his knee and ankles receive while running. His normal body aches post running has improved! The shoe is versatile allowing him to seamlessly run on different surfaces. The one thing he would adjust is the heaviness and bulkiness of the shoe. Although it is not the most stylish due to the large profile, the comfort and support outweigh the look of the shoe. Overall, the Divide 5 has a perfect fit. He ordered his normal size in shoes. The fabric of the shoe happens to be breathable, yet very durable. He has used this product on a variety of surfaces and they still look brand new. He would recommend this product to a fellow runner.
