I bought these for hiking. I am very pleased with them! For 20-30mmHg compression socks, they were easy to get on! I've only wore them for daily use as I haven't been out on trail, yet. They've been wonderful!

I use this product when I walk the hills near me, the compression socks. I am older so putting socks on etc. is sometimes a chore; therefore, these socks are very flexable and easy to put on and take off.

Shopping for replacement. Previous favorite was Mens Everyday OTC compression sock. This one is even better.

Have worn three or four times during my morning walks. So far offering the warmth and support needed! I'm expecting they're as durable as my other Smartwool products

this is a good sock but needs to be one inch longer to be a true compression sock. I wish they would bring the old style compression socks back

Excellent. I have been using another brand sold by a large outdoor gear cooperative and these are much nicer. That other brand has few sizes (one size fits all??). When I slipped on these Smartwool compression sock, I said "ooo" as they were so comfortable. The compression seems to work quite nicely

I have worn the socks several times. They wash fine, but I air dry them which makes the likely hood of shrinkage minimal. The compression is just right for me....... not too strong, but noticeable. They aren't any harder to get on than other brands. My one "wish" is that the foot bed of the socks were thicker. Just the foot bed, not the whole sock. I pretty much wear compression socks year around, so the fact that these are light weight work well for the summer.

I use these socks for travel and daily use. They have the right amount of compression. They are comforting to wear all-day. The first two pair bought had problems with them ripping. Also, I had problem we FEDEX taking over a week to arrive and missed taking them on a trip.

I ordered a large size for my father, whose shoe size is 10.5, but unfortunately, it runs much smaller than expected for a large. I wear a women's size 7.5, and these socks fit me well. Although they were meant for my father, I am going to wear them.

My husband wears the socks every day to work. They helped him tremendously since he stands for long periods of time. The only suggestion I would have is to offer a greater selection of designs. Thank you.

I wear a size 12 shoe and have muscular calves, bigger than all of my friends. I bought a large (good to size 11.5) to ensure a snug fit. It was still not enough. I have a huge array of compression socks and was expecting great things from Smartwool, as I usually love their stuff. These disappointed. I actually have a very old pair of non-compression ski socks from Smartwool that have better compression than my new Smartwool compression socks. Almost all of my other compression socks are much better than my new Smartwools. They are a nice, light sock, just not something I can recommend in good conscience.

Socks fit with good support around calk. The material area for the toes is too narrow which causes toes to pinch together causing discomfort when there is no downward pressure across the toes.

I regularly used prescription grade compression socks and was happy to see smartwool offering 20-30s in their regular fit and material. In comparison to prescription 20-30 socks that are properly fit, these socks are not properly compression socks. I'm on the top end of size L bottom end size Xl with smartwool. My preference is normally size large, which I ordered in these socks. They don't provide enough compression, and aren't based on calf measurements as they should be. At the end of the day these just feel as similar tightness as ski socks. They aren't a replacement for proper compression socks and just feel like a half attempt at making compression socks.

I am using this as a combo for the warmth in winter and as a compression sock after surgery. Even though I went a size up, these socks are not long enough and don't stay up well like the ones I have ordered in the past.

The socks look worn already. The individual packing was ripped and the socks look stretched out and like someone wore them and returned them. I am grossed out.

This run compression sock fabric in the upper calf portion is not made durable or substantial. I am able to easily pull and tear the sock in this calf portion of the sock. The calf cuff stitching is also an area that separates much too soon under normal wear. The positive is the compression and construction is adequate in the lower portion of this sock.

I love Smartwool and have had several compression socks in the past that were great! Equal to my prescription compression hose! These had no, discernible, compression at all. I returned them.
