great socks keep ordering them

I own multiple pairs of similar ski socks. These are slightly thicker (warmer), lower, and lighter compression than the others, and they just fit (thickness and size break) me and my boots better.

Stylish, but too tight for my comfort

Ru small. Women's size 8.5 got medium and feel like small-uncomfortable. Giving to my 12 yo daughter and trying Large

The compression is good however the size runs very small and the colors fade with each wash (cold water hand washing).

These socks looks nice and fit right for the size for my foot. They are not high enough to go fully above my calf and therefore don't stay up properly. Not sure how much use I'll get out of them.

Good tight for on the foot, but the shaft is too loose, falls down and is uncomfy in the boot

I was disappointed that the sock was really small. My order contained medium size for the ski sock as the hiking sock and crew sock. Ski sock was the only one that didn't fit. The colours are lovely. Sizing info was incorrect.

I ordered 3 pair, none stayed above my calf. I contacted customer service about returning. See exchange below. Correct, but I have worn them all once. None stay above my calf. Oh, I see. Unfortunately, items must be unworn if you will be returning it. Smartwool does not have Compression Grade socks. Then she immediately disconnected the chat.

I bought these to try compression socks for skiing. I tried just one sock on, once, and the knit fabric was visibly pilled compared to the other sock, see attached photo. Perhaps just cosmetic but brand new socks should not degrade so quickly. Perhaps a characteristic of the amount of stretch in a comp. sock? For a relatively expensive product I am disappointed and sent back the 2nd pair.
