These socks are warm and wear really good. I have recently started upsizing to allow for shrinkage.

I purchased these as gifst; however, I have and wear Smartwool socks almost every day. They are comfortable, warm and long, long lasting. For these reasons, I chose to buy them as "stocking-stuffer" gifts.

I considered taking off a star because the inside ankle area has loose loops of thread that can catch the toes, but they are super soft and cozy. Just need to be put on with slightly more care
