Just received for a Christmas gif for my husband by a referral from friend. Will review after he uses them. So far they look great and look like they are made nice. They aren't as soft as I pictured, but they still feel nice

These are my go to favorite socks. They last forever and I have bought all styles. I now own more pairs then I want to admit too.

My husband is very particular about socks. Our friends recommended Smartwool to us and we are so glad they did. We love them. They fit great. They have cushion where you want it. My hubby LOVES them.

These socks are my go to everyday sock because it just plain works in 98% of environments. Whether I am wearing them in all leather moc-toe style boots in 80 degree temps or with running/active shoes in the upper 40's, they keep my feet dry from sweat, and are never too hot or cold. The cushion in these socks (strategic cushion option) is placed just right so the overall fit of the sock inside the shoe is not overly bulky. Again, it's a daily driver that satisfies 98% of my needs. Will be adding more of the same. Lastly, Smartwool stands behind their product - I had a toe seam blowout on a year old pair and the return process was fast and easy (just upload digital pics from home). I also have a pair of Darn Tough socks and Smartwools just fit better.

Love these socks, nothing but wool on my feet for any hiking scenario. These are durable and provide lots of protection against blisters and come up high enough to cover my ankles against dirt. I use them in all temperatures.

They are nice and no itch but sometimes don't last long enough for amount of money

Super soft, warm and comfy. My only complaint is the crew part is a little tight. Hopefully with washing and wear it will loosen up.

They are thicker socks than I imagined and cannot use them for hiking.

I still have several pairs of Smartwool hiking socks; they've always been my favorite along with Thorlo. For long hikes I always wear a liner plus my soft, fluffy, Smartwools. Never a blister.
When I received my order I thought I had accidentally ordered something other than "Hiking" but the packaging confirmed that they really are supposed to be hiking socks. They almost reminded me of old-fashioned men's dress socks: thin, stretchy nylon. Although the fabric content says they're predominantly wool, they don't feel like it. They feel slightly thicker in the heel and toe, but nowhere near the cushioning of my older ones. I can't imagine squeezing a liner under them either. I'm not returning them since they have been worn. I'll recheck the website to see if there's anything else that resembles my old favorites.

These are not nearly as cushioned as the ones I purchased last year. They are so thin. The ones last year stated "fully cushioned" in the description. Much prefer the ones from last year. My husband loved them and wore them year round. He said the temperature of the socks adjusted according to his feet. Bring them back please.

Size Purchased: X-Large
Color: Winter Moss
I purchased these socks for my Father-In-Law because his feet are always cold. He is a size 12W.
Unfortunately, they are very small in the width area. The picture is of MY 8.5 shoe size foot. The length is there but it was tight even for me to get on. My Mother-In-Law wears them now and likes them, hence the 2 stars.
They are soft and keep your feet warm, but that's doesn't matter if you can't get them on and wear them.

I have purchased three shirts and two pairs of socks. Love the products. My issue is I received socks with hole over toes. Contact made no response. You tell me how you would feel.

Well made but the sizing is horribly too short. Wearing the socks is painful. Buy at least one size larger than you think you need.
