These socks are beautiful, but they have a hole in them after just one wear. They also seem to fit smaller than other Smart Wool socks. I am always a large and I keep having to readjust these on my feet to get the heel back in place. I have been a loyal customer for 17 years and this is the first year that I have noticed a sharp decline in quality. I almost wonder if these were outsourced and produced by a different manufacturer because instead of the usual woven Smart Wool logo, they just had cheap stickers on the bottom of the socks there are already peeling off. It makes me really sad to see one of my favorite brands going downhill. I hope these were just a fluke.

So cheaply made. This brand has gone downhill. The weave was extremely loose and could see skin through. Not thick at all.

Good casual socks that aren't quite as soft as other Smartwool options. Probably won't be the first pair I grab in the mornings, but I like the casual, textured style.

I'm bringing these to Scotland. They are light enough to pack easily yet warm enough to keep feet dry and comfortable. Also they elastic tops are not as tight as other styles and don't leave ridge lines. I love smart wool socks.

I'm very satisfied with these socks. At first glance they look a bit small, but they actually stretch really well and fit comfortably once on. The cushioning isn't as thick as I initially expected, but they're still surprisingly warm and cozy. Great for everyday wear, and the material feels nice and durable. Would definitely repurchase.

Didnt know about the waffle weave socks at first, but figured I would try them, they are as good as most of the other Smatewool socks I have. These are the perfect thickness for everyday wear.
