I use it for a snowboarding and it is comfortable and warm. Only con is it the pattern doesn't quite look like the photo.

I personally like the thinner socks. They keep you just as warm and do not blow out your snowboard boots. The thick socks will make your boots not fit as snug.

Annual "sock" gift to grandson. He was disappointed they weren't as thick as last year's. Doesn't think they will last as long. He had specifically requested the "Snowboarding" ones because of the targeted cushioning--like "last year"!
