I think I found my new favorite brand of shoe first time I put them on. I could not believe how comfortable they were but once I actually started wearing them at work my feet hurt like crazy walking on the concrete took about 2 to 3 days to break them in but once the shoes were broken in unbelievable how comfortable they are.

Took a bit to get used to the soles but after a day or two I have to say that these are a very comfortable shoe and am beyond happy that I made the choice to buy these.

comfortable, durable, and light weight. It's feels like you are shoeless when wearing.

This was a purchase for work and my daughter is so glad these were recommended by her podiatrist.

I'm about 40 miles into the shoes so far and it looks like the tread is holding up better than the previous version. I noticed initially that the toe box felt a bit tighter than my Rincon 3s, but after a few runs I didn't notice it as much.

I run 30 to 40 miles week and I have ran is the Rincon style since the first series. I normally log between 500 to 600 miles before I have to order a new pair. This update is a welcome upgrade. I like the overall feel and the extra cushioning while improving the tongue design so the laces don't rub on skin. I use a heel lock so the laces are higher up on the foot than normal. I like the tighter feel on my foot and the response when running.

Really like the updates. Feels bouncier, with ample cushioning. Enjoyed the first run today.

It's a great shoe but they run a little small. I had to break them in and wear a thinner pair of socks. Now I know to go up a 1/2 size

I like the padded tongue and a little more room in the toe box. What I don't like is the material over the top front puckers. It is not smooth like previous models.

Love the color; cushions foot falls nicely. Tread seems to be wearing unevenly, and faster than I would have expected (& I'm "easy" on my shoes - they usually last a long time.)

Narrower than I would like for my wide foot, but I'm hoping it stretches with use, without failing.

I'm a casual runner - I run for fitness, not goals. 3-6 miles 3x a week. I appreciated the Rincon 3 for being inexpensive, moderate stack, protective, flexible and lightweight - like a stripped down Clifton. The Rincon 4 is still all those things. The new foam and outsole feels denser and firmer, and I miss the lightly cushioned feel of the Rincon 3 - this is an inexpensive shoe and I don't need it to last forever, lightness & comfort are more important. I find the R4 still true to size - yes it's a snugger fit but I find it to be better overall; the R3 seemed a touch long and roomy in the toebox, and the bucket seemed narrower. That said I'm a C width, so a slightly narrow fit suits me. I think if Hoka makes this a bit softer and a touch roomier in the next version, it will be great.

These are so light and comfortable, and awesome to do a 10-mile run in, but the sole sure does seem to wear out quickly. I've had mine less than six months, with many of my runs coming on a treadmill, and there are flat spots that really shouldn't be there. If you know going in that these aren't a long-term option, and maybe that's why the price is lower than other Hokas, then these are a decent value. It's a shame because they're as comfortable as anything Hoka has made.

I followed HOKA's advice and sized up a size when I purchased these. Now my feet slide around in them. They would be very comfortable otherwise.

Bought this model for my husband. He's a size 16.... not so easy to find shoes in his size and not all Hoka's come in 16. To boot his foot is narrow. This shoes works for him to reaps all the benefits a Hoka offers. However, due to his narrow foot the shoe bunches a bit when tightening the laces.

I reviewed these earlier but I need to change my tune a bit. I am dedicated to the brand so I didn't return these when they caused me some pain at first. They have held up very well over four months of daily use. The outsole tread is still intact and the arch support is still there. Very durable and all the issues I discomfort I had with these subsided as the shoe and my foot made some small adjustments. Stick with these if you can - you'll be glad you did. I am.
