This shoe feels cheaply made by comparison to other Hokas. The toungue is very thin and not padded. The tread is so thin, these will wear out in no time. I'm returning.

Why is HOKA trying to imitate Sketchers in the heal area? The thin loop used before is all that is needed.

I purchased a pair in a wide width because I adore my wide width Clifton's but these are so incredibly narrow I have to return them. I've tried on several HOKAs at stores in my area and never had a pair fit like this. The tongue is sewn into the shoe in a way where it is so tight across the top of the foot I couldn't even wear them long enough to break them in and stretch them out.

Unfortunately Hokkaido seems to keep doing it. They have an amazing shoes but the more newer models/ versions, they change so much that the shoe is not what it was and leave you so disappointed. I had three pairs of machs! Two Mach 5s! Loved them so very much devoted wouldn't switch. Grabbed the Mach 6 when it was time. Awful mistake, they feel like carboard on the bottom, no response like they used to have in the heal, I trained in them ran a half and I've had some of the worst foot pain during my half and training, in my arch but I've never had issues before. I didn't change a thing in my routine mileage or pace anything, the only change is that I needed new shoes and couldn't get my hands on a 5 anymore in my size so went with the 6. Awful! I tried past the warranty period because I was convinced having loved Hoka and Machs so much there was no way it was the shoe. Unfortunately it was the shoe!! Disappointed

The shoe itself is nice. The tongue on this shoe is far too thin and made of an odd material. It slips down and makes it hard to initially put the shoe on your foot. The shoe strings also seem rather short. Kinda disappointing. I'll stick with the Clifton style next time.

I religiously size down half a size in Hokas - in many different styles. I ordered my usually half size down, to find they were too small. Went to a store and fit in my usual size. Tried on several other new hokas and fit my typical size down. The Mach 6 runs true to size, but not consistent sizing across the board. These also felt much more firm, and narrow in the toe box. I returned them, and purchased a new pair of Mach 5s. Hope Mach 7 will be better.

I love my MACH 5's...own 2 pairs. I am not a fan of the new MACH 6 design. The cushion level is higher which is fine but the material the shoe is made from does not give and they are too narrow and uncomfortable. I will be returning mine.

Unfortunately the MACH6 did not meet my expectation and sent them back. I need a sneaker with more stability and weighted soul.

I really wanted to love these, and I did for a month. After a month in they started ripping at the sides. I have never had this happen before. I think this is because of the foam material. I have sent it in for a warranty refund. I hope it is refunded because I purchased a second pair and crossing my fingers it does not tear. This can't be from regular wear and tear because I've hardly used them at all and only have a handful of times on treadmill and track. The customer service rep Brett was very off putting but helped me submit a return. I don't see what Hoka wants with a damaged pair - I was hoping to keep them since I needed a pair of walking shoes while waiting for a new pair. Hoping the damage was a one off. :(

I'm am RN and was SO happy to finally find the perfect shoe for my 12 hour shifts - the Mach 5! I wanted a second pair in a different color, so I figured the Mach 6 would be it. SOOOO disappointed. They are so tight in the toe box - unlike the Mach 5 - I couldn't bear a few steps, even in thin socks, let alone in the thicker socks I love for work. Other brands have done this in the past (looking at you, Brooks) which is why I left them. And now Hoka. What the heck man? Why is this a thing? Were there complaints about the toe box being too wide? I truly wish I understood this.

Really wanted to like these as Mach 5s were my favorite shoe (I have 3 pairs) but when these came out it was hard to get my hands on a wide and once I did I tried to make these work but they are way too narrow (Mach 5 wides were perfect) sad to see my favorite shoe no longer be an option for me

I love the Mach5s so bought these thinking they would be very similar, but there were a couple issues with the shoe that made it not work for my wide foot. The material on the front of the shoe has changed, instead of having a soft like material it now has a more rubberized feel. This pushed into my pinky toe (I think because the material has less give than the mach 5 material). Overall it just felt narrower too. I returned them after trying them on, and bought another pair of mach 5s instead.

My first pair of Hokas. I wear Bombas socks and the red on the tongue fades onto my socks . I have two pairs of Bombas that are ruined . I would not buy these shoes again .

These are the worst shoes ive ever owned. They put all the pressure on the heel of your foot and dont evenly distribute your weight. I literally fell backwards the first time I put them on! I work int retail and am on my feet 9 hours a dsy and my feet hurt every day. Wish I could return them!!! Will never buy another or recommend to others.

The sizing for the shoes run small, not a big deal. Bought the original purchase online, drove an hour to exchange product in store just to be told they cannot exchange online purchases in store. But they can take returns. Washed my hands of this company. It's hard to fathom in the 21st century why a company cannot exchange products in store but will accept returns. I won't support a company with backwards polices. I know $1,000 doesn't matter to them, but I hope this review serves as a warning to others

This is the first pair of Hoka's I have tried. Unfortunately they were not for me. The fit was great and the shoes are comfortable. When I ran in them they hurt my feet. I was able to get through the run. I tried them again if it was a break in period for the first run. My feet hurt within 2 miles. Everyone said I should have bought the Bondi style but my podiatrist suggested these. I doubt I will purchase another pair of Hoka's

As unlike Hoka Mach's as ever. I have always used the Hoka Mach exclusively for running. For context I run 12 - 15 miles per week. The Mach 6 has an unusually narrow toe box (I typically wear medium width B) with a very short tongue that cut into the anterior part of my ankle. I could not make it past the second mile running. I wish they would bring back the Mach supersonic, that was the "incomparable" of Hoka Machs! At this point I'm only keeping it for its looks and because it would probably be too much of a hassle to return. I now wear on days I sit at work :(

I usually love my hoka, they are my go to sneakers. These Mach 6 did not live up to what is expected from hoka. I rotate and started wearing these in November and by December they had no support left in them. I remember putting on my very first pair and felt like I was walking on air and could walk forever. I am 71 years old and this pair did not last six weeks, no stability or support left in them. Not sure if they were just a bad batch but very disappointed.

Despite the fact we have bought several size 13 Men's Hokas, the same style we always get was too small. Very disappointing that we had to return them. Size consistency is a must if you expect customers to be satisfied ordering on line.

I have a great fitting pair of Mach 5s. Assumed these would fit the same. Not the case. Too tight in right toe box, which caused immediate pain and eventual blister. So disappointed.

Clifton 9 was my first Hoka Pair, and I bought it in 7 WIDE (my usual size) as I have a bunions. I loved my Clifton 9, so thought to try something else in HOKA in wide fit. This time I bought Mach 6 in size 7 Wide, but this wide shoes are not as wide as Clifton and feels little tight. The opening of the shoes is also narrow and its not easy to wear (slide through as Clifton). Not happy with this purchase.
