This latest purchased was disappointing.
It does not fit as well as previous shoes.

Love the weight and style, the foot bed is not as comfortable or springy as the Mach 5.

The HOKA Mach 6 model is a much flimsier model than all other HOKA shoes I have purchased.
Mach 6 shoes appear to be lower quality and have much less padding.

Love the more cushion from the 5 to the 6's, but they are soooo narrow!

This shoe is far better than the Mach 5 in every way except that it is way too narrow in the toe box. The womens 7 Wide fits the same as the the Mach 5 regular shoe which was too narrow as well. The speedgoat 5 Wide toe box is better than the Mach 6 Wide. Can you please make the Wide shoes wider like a wider shoe should fit?

I picked up a pair of the Mach 6 (direct from Hoka). I had gone through three pairs of the Mach 5 prior and absolutely loved them for road running. Be aware that the 6 is a different shoe, and you will not have the same fit if you had been in the previous Mach models. It feels like it has a lot more cushioning. For me, going out for a 7-8 mile run with the new fit resulted in a couple of times resulted in real discomfort post run. I was also bummed to see Hoka has a very self-service approach (you manage it all, no phone support & eat the shipping costs) to returns vs. other MFGers that tend to make it easier.

Shoe was good length, great width, great weight, but it didn't form my feet correctly. My heel kept slipping out the back. I ran in them for 2 mins and said nope. I was so sad. Will have to go back to my previous brand.

Very comfortable soles but the inner top of laces dig into the tops of my feet. I've never had this issue with tennis shoes. The soles are great but the discomfort on the top of my foot is annoying all day long. Ugh.

It used to be a solid shoe, now for the same price the quality has significantly deteriorated! The shoe tongue is almost like cloth, the thickness of denim - a whole lot of pull and tug is required to get it in place. The shoe itself is very light which is because the materials used are some kinda synthetic that is so light - weighs almost nothing!

I had Hoka Cliftons and they changed my view of shoes. My pair of Cliftons are no longer suitable for public so I came to the site, excited about getting another pair of Hoka shoes and picked MACH 6. I realize the difference in the series, but they are simply not to the same standards I was expecting from the brand.
I thought it was a break-in adjustment, but no. Even though that wasn't a thing in the other pair, they were amazing the first second. Now the MACH 6 are broken in and definitely NOT as comfortable. The insoles are a flimsy piece of foam. Running in these don't provide the same cushion or comfort. The tongue design is annoying, it's constantly bunching, snagging. I'm tired of readjusting. Everyone is wearing socks, right?
The sole pattern is a dirt collection system. My running is neighborhood, walking involves grass, I'm just moving fine dirt from place to place with the tiny divots in the sole. I've get the abrasive mats, fuzzy dog paw mats, and typical welcome mats and nothing is helping. The gauntlet of mats and a tap-tap jig, it's still leading to dirt tracked on the floor. Even noticeable sliding when I walked into the corner store. I'm not interested in a hiking sole, but this is the equivalent of a 1980s drugstore flip flop.
I tried cleaning mud off the toe/top and can't get the fabric to let the dirt go. I know they are shoes, but I'm not carrying them into a gym and changing before leaving. They will come in contact with the Earth, I need to be able to clean them.
The laces stay tied. . .
I tried to love them. It's been 3 months. I'm constantly reverting to the old pair. I'm hesitant moving to another pair.

My last pair of Mach 6 fit perfect and I really like the shoe. I have skinny feet. I bought another pair of Mach 6's online in a different color and they are so much wider and I don't like how they feel when I running/walking in them. I understand there would be a fit difference if I ordered another version of the Mach or another style, but I expect more consistency with the same product. Going forward I will only purchase shoes when I can try them on.

The fit and width of the shoe are great. I have wide feet through the ball of my foot, and the wide width was plenty accommodating. A regular fit may have worked. The problem is that the soles are so incredibly squishy that they become painful to wear. I made the mistake of wearing them on a travel day and really regretted it. My whole foot and ankle was sore on both sides for days. Like I had been walking in loose sand for too long a distance. Too bad, because I really liked the fit and look. Not too clunky or overly large. The sole is just too squishy.

I have never needed wide shoes and all my other shoes (read On and so on) are either 7.5 or a few are 8. I have never had any other sizings in shoes. I ordered this in 8, my feet felt very uncomfortable. Returned and got 8.5 and wore it for 5 mins and I had a burning sensation in my feet. When I removed it, I saw that it had dug into my skin (this is in less than 5 mins). Now I am thinking if I should just return it or order a wide one and size up again. That's 1.5 sizes up from my original size.

I have 3 pairs of Hoka. I was fitted into Mach 5 and loved them. I bought another pair and they were perfect. Mach 6 came out and while they were different in not a good way, they still worked so I kept them. The fit is more narrow, and the arch is off. However, I recently ordered a black Mach 6 and this shoe is so narrow and awkward. My feet are not wide but the shoe is significantly different and just uncomfortable. I walked back and forth in my kitchen and the shoe was altering my walk. They are very narrow so your foot rotates and it's almost like you walk on the inside side of your feet. My husband said it looked like I might break my ankle. In the couple minutes of trying the shoe on, my knee immediately started hurting. Very disappointed. Back to the drawing board. Headed back to the shoe shop to be fitted again and guessing I will have to switch brands.

There were 2 options for a solid black shoe. I chose the black/black the darker of the 2 the best I could tell. So disappointed they were more a charcoal grey color, no where near black. I like the comfort of the shoe, just need solid black for my work.

My most recent pair of Hoka shoes I bought are advertised as wide but they are not for wide feet. The front of the shoe is wide but the middle of the shoe has a gusseted tounge and that definitely isn't wide foot friendly. If they made that part of the shoe slightly looser, everything about this shoe would be great. Wish I could exchange them but seeing as I bought them with afterpay on the site, we don't get that option.

I have been wearing Clifton 9s in a wide and wanted to try switching (so that I can be faster) but even in a wide these were sooo narrow. I had to return them and go back to Cliftons.

This is a nice sneaker, but not made as well as the Clifton or Bondi. The rubber material around the shoe is not as strong and has already gapped in one place after one wear. The shoes is very comfortable and light weight.
