The reason I bought my first pair of hokas was because my husband and son had raved on and on. They said it was the most comfortable shoe they had ever had worn. So much so that they have countless pairs between them.. I gave in and bought my first pair, Rincon4, only to be disappointed. While they felt great in the store, it wasn't until I got home and started walking longer distances that I began to experience discomfort on my heels. I tried different things like purchasing cushioned heel inserts, a thicker sock, a thinner, sock to help remedy the blisters I was experiencing. Nothing helped. I really wanted to love this product as much as my husband and son and maybe I would have if I didn't get the blisters. The cushion in the shoe is comfortable, but falls secondary to the pain from the blisters.

But my feet hurt so bad I stand all day and they don't help at all. Plus the bottom soul is not rubber they are slick I'd never buy again

Am I the only one?? These hurt! Too much padding. I loved that the Rincon I didn't have to stretch them out! Put my feet in and they were perfect! These don't feel the same at all. Don't like the added height either. The rincons were perfect for people who needed arch support for plantar fasciitis's kept my feet completely supported in every direction. So many people I met said the same they were a God sent! I am buying up any Rincon 2 or 3 I can find on any site on the internet! In any color so I still have a shoe that is perfect for my feet! These feel like the bondi too me. Please please please please HOKA change it back! My feet hurt again in these! My calf's hurt too! I can hike run walk for miles in my 2's and 3's!!! I was the happiest person ever when i found them and been singing the praises of the 3's from the rooftops but the 4's no no no! To those of you who are thinking of getting them they aren't even close to the same!!

Only lasted 94 activities so like 94 uses before the arch collapsed but if you don't weigh 250 then you may have better luck.

Tried to run in these twice and they are just not comfortable at all. There's a spot near the inner ankle that rubs like crazy.

Shoes fit to small not good quality

I have many foot issues and have tried SO MANY brands and makes of shoes it is absolutely ridiculous. I have tried out multiple Hoka styles and the original OG Rincon was the Golden Ticket. I wore them 10 - 12 hours daily and they provided me with so much relief, it was a miracle. I wore out two pairs and I haven't worn out a pair of shoes since I was a kid. I went back to Hoka to get another pair and found they had "improved" the Rincon and were on Rincon 3. Those are not the same. Then came this one - Rincon 4 - and I gave it a shot. Nope. I don't know exactly why the shoes get reworked and I don't know what specifically changes - all I know is that they don't work for me anymore. This version has a smaller overall feel, the toe box has much less room and I had major heel slippage. My foot literally moved up and down in the shoe with every step, which has not happened with any other Hoka style. The pair I received had obviously been worn and had staining on both the toes. I was flabbergasted to see that the trim around the opening of the shoe seemed to be unfinished at the ends - it isn't sewn or glued or melted - it just is ragged bare material. I think that is going to fray over time and in any case, it looks ugly. These are expensive shoes and that doesn't seem right to me. Finally, I miss the glorious colors that Hoka used to have for their shoes. The last couple of years it seems to be all bland and beige and really ugly earth tones. Hokas were once a major help to me and now I can't find any that work for me at all. Seriously disappointed. I would pay A LOT for a pair of original Rincons.

I finally gave in and bought a pair after hearing people say they were very comfortable. I have found that these shoes are not any better than the sketchers that I have for half of the price. By the end of the day, my feet hurt and swollen. These shoes are not comfortable at all for a 12 hour Day.

I wish you hadn't altered Rincon 4. Rincon 3 was so instantly comfortable. The 4 version made my feet ache. I had to return them.

The shoes came too big want to exchange it, but the size i want is always out of stock

Cut into back of heel and too tight

Ordered size per the recommendation and it is too small. Do not have the size I need so I'm on a waiting list. This is the first time I will try HOKA as I normally wear BROOKS. Not willing to pay more just to try because they don't have the size I need so if I can't exchange before the return deadline, I guess I will stick with BROOKS. Hoping they get the size I need because my grandarlin insist I need to wear HOKAs! Guess we'll see...

Does not fit according to size

Heel not as wide, heel contour not at stable, collar not as high/secure as any previous model. This is my 10th pair of Rincons.

Worn Hoka for years the quality has gone down hill while the price has becone ridiculous! They no longer feel bouncy and supportive very low quality souls

I was really excited to wear these shoes and they are comfy. The only issue is the sole is made of foam and has almost completely worn off after 5 months of light use. They will not accept a warranty claim because it's considered normal wear and tear. I have never owned a pair of shoes that went bald in such a short time frame. My Bondi 9 have rubber soles and I run in them, they barely show any wear and tear. Spent nearly $150 with tax and shipping just to find a new pair 5 months laterwhat a joke!
