Awful!! We have only been wearing these shoes since September 1 and the Velcro does not stay closed at all.

It is so hard to find extra wide shoes to fit my toddlers feet. Not only does he have wide feet, but he was also born with an extra bone in his big toe and even after surgery to remove it, his toe is still big making it hard to fit into regular shoes. These shoes are PERFECT. Toe box is wide enough to fit his special toe without it being uncomfortable for him. As for the failing velcro that others have mentioned…this is my 3rd pair of velcro new balances for my kiddo and we have had zero problems with the previous 2 so don’t let that deter you from purchasing! Highly recommend!

I buy these for all my kids when they’re between 2-6! The best!

Bought for our 1 year who’s learning to walk. Shoes gives her more support as she’s gaining balance.

Bought these for our 18 month old Grandson. They go on easy and he keeps them on which is normally not the case. They have been great for his advancement to walking distances and playing in the yard. I plan on continuing to purchase this line of shoes as he grows into larger sizes.

I bought these in xw when I should have bought wide. My fault, not the shoes. They are fantastic. Easy to put on. Look great.

Finally a shoe that will fit my toddler. I guess he has very wide feet, because a 5.5 W didn't quite get on his food, but this 5.5 Extra Wide fit great.

So love these shoes, perfect for wide width feet, but.. started tearing up on the inside fast, bought a new pair and same issue

The hook and loop closure is already worn and won’t stick anymore after only 2.5 months. Really disappointed because these are great shoes otherwise and they weren’t cheap. Should have lasted longer.

I have purchased so many new balance kids and I love that it comes in extra wide. However the Velcro straps are different now. We got this in Mar '25 and by the end of Apr '25 they stopped working. that was just two months. I cleaned out the Velcro and it still does not stick.

I had bought this variety of sneaker before with no issue. However, this time, after one month, the velcro no longer worked and did not stick. This happened on both sides.
