I got this for my 5 year old. I sized up as suggested but he still says his feet hurt. We cant use these with thick socks They are very sturdy but also too heavy. I think you should order at least 2 sizes bigger.

Nice boots for winter. Vert sturdy material, cozy. Waterproof.

I always size up in boots for thicker socks and comfort. My son is in a 10c I ordered 11c. He loves them. He can put them on by himself and quickly. Theyre stylish and hold up in rain and snow. Would purchase again.

My son has had two pairs of these boots now, in two different sizes! He loves them! He says they are really warm and sturdy on his feet! They are one of the best pair of winter boots weve ever purchased! Love that we were able to get them on a good sale too!

I LOVE these boots! I have bought them twice now for my son. They are amazing quality, and he says there very comfy and warm. A little on the pricey side but you get every pennys worth with these boots. I will continue buying them as my son grows out of them!

A bit to small would be nice it they ran for wide feet

We're at the point now that we have to buy our 5-year-old new boots every winter. We try to stick with name brands because they hold up way better. Last year we had LL Bean boots and I went to buy them again this year and found them to be way too expensive then the previous year when we bought them. Both LL Bean and Columbia offer teacher discounts, but Columbia's prices were just way better. My daughter loves these boots. Their waterproof, comfortable, and very warm. She can't yet cinch them up on her own, so we have them fully closed up and she can slip her feet in (she needs an adult to pop them off, though. They are very snug). I love them and I almost want an adult pair for myself, but I don't think they sell adult bugaboots The only interesting thing, though, is they do run slightly small. She wears a size 10 in boots and the size 12 is perfect for her. If you don't have a Columbia footwear near you, I would suggest going to your closest shoe store and seeing if they have these, trying them on in the store, and then buying them from the website. That's what we did.

Bought for my son for this upcoming winter. They fit great and will keep him warm
