Good shoe. Great in the cold. It would be helpful to have a wide 2E version. Very helpful.

Very comfortable and perfect for walking around in wet grass. I walk 5 miles every morning and don't have any issues. I wore the regular Ghost 15 previously which was my first pair of Brooks. Those corrected a lot of issues I had with my back and knee.

Bought a regular Ghost 16 and decided to try the waterproof Ghost 16 for golf. I walk and carry for 18 holes. Great shoes for golf no real issues for traction.

Was impressed with the waterproof aspect, and the arch was just enough.

I love it! It's so comfortable and feels so good!

My previous running shoes were the Brooks Levitate and I had been quite pleased, but after many miles, it was time to replace them. I decided to splurge on this Ghost 16 GTX and could not be happier. I feel light and great on my feet, and they feel more supportive on my knees. Very happy with this purchase.

Much better than Ghost 15 GTX. Better fit, not as rigid, more cushioning.

Pricey, but worth it. Very comfortable and waterproof.

First off the Ghost 16 GTX seems to run small. I ordered my normal size 12 and the right show was narrow and tight. The left seemed fine. I have been wearing Brooks for around d20 years from Ravennas Adrenelines, Glycerins and even Addiction walkers. This is the first time a 12 did not fit perfectly. So I ordered a 12.5 and they fit better. Feel great so far. So think about the material of the GoreTex liner when ordering.

Ordered same size as previous (non-GTX) pair. Smaller and uncomfortable fit. Next size would be too large.

I bought the Ghost GTX while my wife bought the regular Ghost (no Gore-Tex). We spent a week in rainy Japan and although I had the GTX, my feet were much more soaked than my spouse's. We walked through no puddles so I would expect the Gore-tex shoes to be drier than then the non GTX. I will be moving to the regular Ghost as they are very comfortable and kept me walking for miles.

My husband and I each bought a pair of these for a 3 week trip to Italy. They were very comfortable and almost felt like a hiking shoe the way they hugged the trails when we were out hiking. They did great in the rain and in the slippery stones in Venice and Cinque Terre. We highly recommend them.

I love my Ghost 15 shoes because they are available in 2E. (Have 5 pairs) These are not, but I needed a waterproof pair so I planned to give them a try walking in Europe. They were too tight. Never had a chance to wear them in the rain, so I can only hope that next time I need a waterproof shoe, they will keep my feet dry and I will just frustratingly put up with them being too tight. I wish the Brooks engineers would create a waterproof 2E. I would be the first in line to order!

Good for running or walking. Cushion is about right maybe a touch on the softer side.

The only reason I give these shoes a 3 star rating and not higher is because they do not let me feet breath. My shoes never smell but these have made my socks smell. I love the fit and comfort of the shoe and was stoked that they were gore tex. But after 2 weeks I feel let down.

They are soft and durable and give me strength with every step I take and I feel safe in my knees and my lower back rests when walking and standing.

So comfortable. And I love the black Can easily be worn with jeans and a dressy shirt.

A return to a better time, ie this shoe is a lot like my ghost 12 gtx's (black with dark blue trim) which to date are my favorite generation of this shoe... They went back to a higher quality lace. The cushion and rebound are also a reverted improvement while still maintaining a firm feel. The fit is ever so slightly snugger around the heel and in general. I'm also hoping to see a return to more consistent performance in wet conditions.

I have the Ghost 14 and I LOVE them! So, I purchased the Ghost 16 GTX on accident (I was looking to purchase the Ghost 16). I bought another pair because I am a pup training and exerciser. So, I wanted another pair just in case I worked in the rain. Sadly, this pair is not the pair for me! My feet and knees hurt after I use them; which, I find it really interesting because the Ghost 14 are soooooo comfortable! On the upside, these shoes are stylish! Its tough to write this review. I love Brooks & the Ghost 14, but I had to write it because my feet and knees do hurt after I wear them and others need to know.

I have been loving these sneakers for my go to training sneaker. The fit and feel are excellent and maintain the level of quality Ive come to find with Brooks products. They fit true to size and are extremely comfortable. The mesh fabric is breathable yet I feel supported in the toe area. The cushioning soles are the best way to hit a workout without feeling every bit of pressure. I also love the classic all black colorway it compliments any workout gear Im rocking. I have been reaching for these consistently and am very happy with the performance.

Initially I thought I'd wear these for training, but with the sleek black design, I decided to try them out with my black scrubs at work. These shoes are like walking on clouds. The heal and support are wonderful. The only drawback is they are a bit bulky. But I love how I feel at the end of the day and I love the lift they give me. These are my new everyday work shoes at a fast-paced medical clinic.

I was excited to lace up these Ghost 16 GTXs and go for a nice run. Ive had multiple pairs of Brooks in the past and put a lot of miles on them, so I couldnt wait to test these out. The first thing I noticed is how light they are. They feel like I barely have anything on my feet. Ive gone on about 10 runs since I got these, and each time out feels better and better. Theyre also super good looking, so I love wearing them while Im out and about running errands as well. I have the all black pair, and one thing that sticks out is how thick the sole is, which also provides tons of cushioning. It also has an Gore-Tex upper membrane that will allow me to go out while its wet, and still have dry feet. Overall, this is a fantastic shoe that is perfect to wear on a long run as well as a casual day out.
