I have a BAD right knee, so I can't run or jog from the pain. I wear a brace and can do a fast walk. Yesterday was 12 miles in 3 hours and 4 minutes.

Bought for my uncle. He says very comfortable and width is good. Very happy with them.

I think this is an improvement over the first iteration of the shoe. Soft, but not marshmallowy, rides very nice. Sizing is good too, things get weird at 13-14 size range, these are proportioned correctly.

Great! Just exactly what I was hoping for. Nice cushion and my feet aren't hurting at the end of the day! I use them for everyday long walking. 0 complaints here.

I currently run on a treadmill between 8 and 12 miles per week or 2 miles per session. I previously ran in Ghost 15s and most recently Glycerin 20s and found both to be very good from the start. The Ghost Max fit my feet well and are true to size for me. Although the shoes were comfortable from the start, it did take several runs to get used to the shoes. There was no discomfort, but I did feel like my feet were landing on the treadmill deck differently. The only thing I can think of is the difference in the shape and thickness of the sole from what I was used to. I continue to run in these and have found them to be very good to run in.

Very comfortable and feels great! I really enjoy the cushion, Ben on road and sidewalk without the ability to get to the soft dirt and these are really helped.

Max 2 is my new shoe now. Been a Ghost user for a long time and tried the Max 2 for the first time. Expensive but worth it. The fit is incredible. Great cushioning and support. Love them.

A little stiff in the beginning but doesn't last long. Extremely comfortable especially when standing 12-14 hours during a shift. Great for everyday also when just going for walks. Will not disappoint.

I was afraid the cushioning would be so significant that it would feel like I was running on big pads of Styrofoam. I was so wrong. The ghost Max is a perfect running shoe. I'll never buy another brand of running shoe again.

First time buying Brooks, I got size 10 wide as I was feeling like my old shoes were just a bit too narrow. They are pretty true to size, ever so slightly on larger side. If 10 is usually a bit big on you, I'd probably size down to 9.5 at least on the wide version. Otherwise just stick with 10. Had an issue with shipping and customer service could not have been better in resolving the issue. The shoes are light and honestly feel like walking on clouds that give you a bit of a bounce while running or walking. There are no unnecessary flaps or fabric on the inside, and comfortable padding around the back making them very comfortable to wear. They're also easy to slip on and off without tying/untying if that's your thing. Only downside is they do look a bit chunky, but not a problem if your main goal is a good pair of running shoes. I've had them for only a couple weeks but would confidently buy these again, as well as looking into other styles by Brooks for anything else I need.

These are good shoes. They have way more cushion than the Adrenaline and regular Ghost shoes. That may or may not be a good thing for you. You'll feel two feelings: a roll from heel-to-toe, and squishy cushion underneath, too. In addition, the shoe front feels taller inside than other shoes, and my toes thank Brooks. That makes these shoes very good for work and walk (W^2). I've tried other shoe companies claiming "wide width," but the mentioned Brooks shoes are the only ones that are really good with bunions (men's 12.5, EEEE).

As a basketball official, your lower body takes a beating.... but a little less so in a pair of Brooks Ghost Max 2. These are the best sneakers I've worn so far in my career. I highly recommend them.

really comfortable, needed a neutral shoe ans I'm a big guy who supinates, so far so good. I've had them for about a month now and they're very comfortable, used for short jogs and long days walking and my feet felt great.

Loved the first edition Ghost Max and the 2 is just as great. Ran last year's marathon in my first Ghost Max and plan on running 26.2 in December in the 2. Good support, nice cushion, wide toe box. Great shoes for distance!

At age 77, I don't run, actually I've never run. Up until a couple of months ago, prior to purchasing my Ghost 2 shoes, I couldn't hardly walk without foot pain. What a relief the day a local shoe salesman had me try on a pair of Ghost 2 sneakers. I knew right away they were the ones I've been looking for years! I have hammertoes and arthritis in my feet. I use pain gel and patches and hammertoe toe separators daily just to be able to walk. In addition I use medical grade orthotics. Today I can walk anywhere, anytime with or without the gels and pads thanks to Ghost 2. As a matter of fact, I purchased a second pair of Ghost 2 shoes direct from Brooks Running when they were on sale to prepare for the day when the original pair wear out. And purchased a pair of Ghost 3 recently and can't wait to try them out. There is nothing to dislike about my Brooks Running Ghost 2 sneakers.

These shoes were a GREAT surprise. I feel Brooks fit has declined over the past few years. I used to wear the Ghost and the toe box has seemed to get narrower and the cushioning less. I ordered these because I could not find a comfortable every day shoe. These were VERY comfortable from the moment I put them on. After I had taken some steps with them, I was smiling!!! These shoes are very comfortable without being too cushy. I had tried Hokas, but they are way too cushy! These are just right. I have had them about a month and a half now and am still pleased with them. These will be my "go to" shoes in the future and I will buy more IF the cushioning and fit stay the same. Thank You Brooks for the pleasant surprise!!

Surprisingly comfortable, and very much upgraded compared to ghosts of the past... Feels very similar to my Asics Gel Cumulus which I've been using as daily trainers. I prefer "light and comphy" for everyday runs, and these new ghosts are exactly that. Like all of the Brooks running shoes, these are well built -- and it's noticable. I'm certain they will outlast my Asics. Bravo Brooks!

I usually get Gylcerins, however, the fit is perfect and the amount of cushion allows for very comfortable runs.
