For women who liked (or NEED) the roomier feel of the V4 toe box will be disappointed in the V5. Tight…less fabric! I was able to wear a wide in the V4. Wish I hadn't walked in them so I could send back and try XW. They make my feet hurt and toes go numb. Can only wear without socks and opened as far as laces will allow. It’s almost like the 1080 that I cant even wear in XW! Thanks NB for appealing to masses and not have at least one option for the people who need more room and cushioning. Expensive mistake for trusting NB who use to be consistent.

still not wide enough - tight in the toe area. Sad because I wanted these to work. Please make some of your cuter shoes truly wide enough for really wide feet.

I was hopeful with my NB purchase. I wore NB in the past when I was a runner. I need the extra foam from plantar fasciitis and surgery. They would have been great but I could not comfortably wear them with my custom orthotics. My orthotics have more height than store-bought orthotics so my heel did not sit deep enough in the shoe. I do not think purchasing a larger size would make the orthotic a better fit. The only shoes I have had success using the orthotics are Hoka Bondi 7/8 or Brooks Ghost Max

These are great and fit perfect without squishing my feet. My feet and knees do not hurt after a nice long walk. Thank you for keeping it black and charcoal and not bright!!

the pair of sneakers were worn by someone else before me the rubber soles were dirty and the sneaker had a stain by the toe I did not even want to try them on

So soft and excellent support! I bought a white but they are hard to keep clean so I will be buying the black! This shoe looks big because of the sole but I don’t care! Comfort is everything when you work 12 hour shifts

I had the previous version of this shoe and loved it. The newer one runs abt a 1/2 size smaller for me, it was a little tight in the toe box and I don’t have wide feet. Sizing up worked for me and they are very comfortable. I love the style and the black on gray looks sharp!

The fit is smaller than expected but fit fine. The support is very comfortable and consistent. I love the way these shoes look, they are so chunky in the best way.

I used these shoes to run my first half marathon last fall and I’m going to use them again for a 25k this spring. I’m typically a tried and true brooks lover, but I was unable to find the style that I liked at an affordable price, so I tried these instead and I don’t think I’ll ever go back! So much comfort and arch support. I have normal width feet, but I went with the wide instead of medium after reading many reviews and I’m glad I did.

Fantastic sneakers with a ton of cushioning. I wanted a cushy shoe due to recent metatarsal pain. I can now wear all day and walk 1 mile to train station after work pain free. I will say they run slightly more narrow than NB 1080. These are my new favorite sneakers.

Actually ordered half size bigger.. fit me real well plus its so comfortable and cushy for short runs..

Weight of the shoe is heavy

This has been a favorite shoe for a few years. I love the max cushion! while I don’t run , I do have arthritis in my feet and I’m prone to stress fractures so I need allot of protection. The toe box is slightly more narrow than the previous model and I had to size up 1/2 size. Overall I did like the previous model a bit better but these do work.

Really liked them but not deep enough for my insoles.

I have bunion and metatarsal issues. These shoes were one of several brands recommended by my Orthopedic Surgeon and Orthotics maker as a potential way to avoid surgery. Using this style shoe has made an enormous difference in my comfort and ability to walk long distances. I did find that my orthotics resulted in the need to buy a half size larger. It makes the shoes a little looser so I’m managing with thicker socks. I like the look of the shoe. I wish manufacturers would make these in leather or some fabric for rain. My other wish is that they’d make color options that look professional or appropriate for social occasions. I may purchase these shoes in the 1/2 size larger than normal.

The width of the show was not adequate for me.

Very cushioned and comfortable when standing still or walking straight on my bedroom rug .... but seemed to cant the front part of my foot to the outside. I got an 8.5 wide and while the toe box was ample the heel was much too loose and slippage occurred. AND with the wider width and the extremely thick sole they looked like I had Frankenstein feet. Unfortunately must return.

I recently discovered these Fresh Foam More v5 are great shoes for me - I prefer them to the v6. Bought them in the grey-black originally. Tried to get a second pair for rotation, but every pair I buy now is faulty. I guess it's because the v5 is last year's model and all the ones that are left in stock now are pairs that have been previously returned for having a problem. This pair I'm returning today has a bumpy sole in the left shoe - under the insole, so not fixable with a different insole. Such a shame.

Why did they change these from the previous model? I wear a 7.5 wide (due to bunions and my orthotics) though in a regular shoe I’m a 6.5 or 7. The freshfoam 4 model was wonderful and I switched to it after years of running in hokas. When they finally wore out, I tried this model and no matter how I lace them up, my toes go numb after half an hour. I’m so bummed! I’ll try the extra wide to see if that helps but if not, it’s back to Hokas.

These 150$ sneakers came as if I purchased a pair for $5! Box completely damaged and shipped in a bag! This was supposed to be a gift. Completely disgusting !

I've been wearing Fresh Foam More in 8 XW for years and had no problem fitting my custom orthotics inside until this model. This one is so narrow that I couldn't even getthe orthotics inside it. Very disappointed.
