As an experienced runner who logs 20+ miles a week on a mix of maintained trails, gravel, and asphalt, I've had the pleasure of running in several iterations of the Brooks Adrenaline line. The Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX continues to uphold the high standards I've come to expect. The Adrenaline 23 GTX offers a snug yet comfortable fit thats consistent with the Adrenaline line. This is my fifth pair of Adrenaline shoes, and theyve all provided the same fit, true to size. My favorite thing about the GTX Shoe is the Gore-Tex lining, which makes them ideal for running in rainy conditions. The waterproofing keeps your feet dry, and the traction is more than adequate for easy gravel trails. Ive found these shoes to be perfect for days when the weather is wet, offering both stability and comfort across all types of terrain. I usually retire shoes after 300 or so miles, however, I believe these will make it into my everyday rotation once I have worn them out as a running shoe. As far as the design, the grey/blue/orange colorway is not only stylish but also practical. The design maintains a clean look, which helps in hiding dirt and keeping them looking sharp longer. In summary, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 GTX is a stellar choice for runners seeking reliability and performance in all weather conditions. Theyve earned their place as my go-to shoe for rainy days, proving that Brooks continues to deliver top-notch quality with each new release.

I been wearing Brooks for years. I call them the happy feet shoes. They're like walk on clouds! As a matter of fact, I tell all my friends, especially the ones that just started walking/running...Brooks is the shoe to wear. The air mesh upper does have some mild stretch to it, which provides a little bit of wiggle room for people that prefer that. The tongue is moderately thick with gusseting that wraps/secure the foot well so the shoe stays in place. The forefoot is firmer thanks to being lower to the ground, which combined with moderate flexibility makes for a quicker and slightly snappy transition off the forefoot so your glide is fast and smooth. The heel features some mild geometry changes that allows for the posterior lateral side to compress a little more. Compared with a mild posterior lateral bevel this makes for a decent transition with heel strike and it is a wonderful feature. I would definitely recommend these running shoes and there are lots of different color combinations to choose from so you have plenty of options available. I am happy with the durability and quality of these shoes and they are worth getting.

This is my second pair of the Brooks Adrenaline shoes. They are extremely comfortable. If these werent my new regular training shoes, I would use these as my exclusive casual wear shoe. They seem to run a half size larger than other brands but its not noticeable once you get moving. The soles are extremely cushioned and great for forefoot runners. The goretex has proven its worth in the early morning when there is due or puddles from rain the night before. Highly recommend

I have been wearing the non-GTX Adrenalines for years, in a 2E, and love them. I wish Brooks would make other shoes, like this GTX version in wide as well. People with wide feet would like to run in waterproof shoes too! Also, please make more colors available for the wide, non-GTX Adrenalines as well.

good cushioning and support but overall fit is tight. Hoping the shoes will "loosen up" a bit.

The toe box is extremely cramped. I have a narrow foot, so I thought this would work for me. Sadly, it's too tight.

Too tight, I can usually wear a men's 7 and in a women's size 9, I have on a size 7 and 1/2 in these shoes and they're still way too tight.

Very very tight in the toe area compared to the Cascadia Brooks with exactly same shoe size. Recommend Cascadia strongly don't recommend GTS 23 GTX unfortunately as they are uncomfortable

Bought these shoes in January, have walked between 200 and 220 miles since then. The sole is worn to the point that there is no grip left on the bottom. Very disappointed as I have had Brooks several times during my active duty days, and after retiring. Sadly, I probably won't buy Brooks again.

I really wanted to love this shoe. As others have mentioned, order half a size up. My issue was not the width or the length. Ordering a half size up made these okay. My issue with the shoe was that my toes were constantly making contact with the inside of front top part of the shoe every time I walked. There just wasn't enough height here and having my toes hit that rounded part that felt like stiff cardboard was just incredibly uncomfortable. A few millimeters of height space in this area would have solved the problem. But I suspect the issue is due to the extra layers of waterproof protection. I returned these.

I have been wearing adrenalines for 10 years or more. The shoe of the 23's were slightly higher on the outside ankle than on the 22's. Very uncomfortable .I've worn them to long to return , but will continue getting the 22's if possible .

The shoe was narrower and could not be worn even with a sock. Design was the only thing that was good with this shoe.

This is my second pair of Adrenalines - same style (GTS 23 GTX) and these do not fit well at all. Tight in the toes, make my feet feel numb. My first pair was a DREAM out of the box. I am trying to give these some break in time, but not feeling hopeful. Super disappointed.

The size is smaller than the Adrenaline GTS 23 without the Gore-Tex. Never had a chance to wear them outside. I normally wear a size 12.5 in the Adrenaline GTS 23 ( I have several pairs). The 12.5 was too small in the toe box so I exchanged for a size 13-still too small and getting a wide version would not be solution because then the shoe would be too wide for the rest of my foot except maybe the toe box.

I have 6 Pairs of Adrenaline size 11 and they are my go to running shoe. I just bought the GTS 23 in same size and it is a smaller shoe. Tried breaking it in and no luck. Now stuck with a useless shoe.

The size was incorrect, too small in toe due to Gortex liner. I was told I needed 1/2 to 1 size larger.

When I got these shoes, initially I was satisfied. Fast forward less than 10 days later and they were already being shipped back for a return. How is it that a running shoe can be designed and made with Zero ventilation? The lack of air flow built into these shoes caused extreme sweating, moisture buildup, blisters and lead to a noticeable odor after less than 30 combined exercise miles. If you enjoy wearing comfortable saunas on your feet, these are the shoes for you. All that aside, these shoes are a 4.5 / 5 but the major design flaw makes these a 1/5. The very easy, painless customer service and return policy process was great. No complaints.

I thought I'd give these a try because they were on sale and the Revels have minimal color variety. Going with these were a big mistake. They squeeze around the base of my big toes to the point I have bruising on my left foot. I've ran in them twice and it's very uncomfortable. I'll try them a few more times in hope that they will get broken in. Very disappointed in this running shoe.

Sizing is all wrong. This is the second pair of gtx sneakers I have tried and both were too small. I have been wearing the adrenalin for years, and have several pair size 11. It seems that the extra layers of material that make them waterproof also take up the volume in the sneaker. Can't just add the gortex or whatever Brooks uses without changing the size of the shell. To bad because I love my Adrenalins but wearing them in a NE winter is impossible.
