These shoes are very comfortable. However, if you are looking for ankle support they are not the best. I bought the coconut/milk color which is super cute but after a few months of wear they are completely stained from dirt and scuffs. I have tried everything to get the stains out but the material won't wash out.

This pair isn't as comfortable as the last pair of Ghost Max that I had. I wear the all black with black sole, I only wished there was a splash of color on the all black shoes. I work in a hospital setting and most people working here wear Brooks so they are not just for running.

Not as cushioned as my old Ariel 20's were. I have planters fasciitis and they are not as soft on my feet as the Ariel 20's were. I thought these were supposed to have maximum cushioning but they don't.

For me, it's only a 3. It seems like they put too much cushioning without enough room for your feet. My Ghost 16 is much more comfortable. I had to return the Max 2.

I recently upgraded from the Ghost to the Ghost Max. My feet love the extra cushioning and roomy toe box. Unfortunately the top of the shoe rubs on the inside of my ankle near the ankle bone. I'll need to find another go-to shoe.

A little tight in the toe area. Padding great.

The left shoe the tongue is always moving towards the left. I feel Like it's defective?

Sad to say was disappointed in this version as the original Ghost Max have been my favorites. The toe box on these is narrower and the shoe material over all much stiffer . Tries to make them work but sent them back

Wide is not wide enough. Little to no arch support. Very disappointed. However, I do love the color.

Cushiony but uncomfortable in the ankles. I'm very thin and I felt like the sides of the shoes rubbed. My knees hurt immediately. Unfortunately I'm returning these.

Wanted to love them; they were not for me. I am a long-time Dyad wearer with wide feet and customs orthotics. I loved the cushioning but the toe box was just not quite wide enough for me feet and rubbed my toes. I loved the look and the cushioning was great . . . Just not quite right, and I did return them.

I find the toe box to snug. I've been wearing the Ghost forever, these are a little to snug.

These shoes were mixed for me, I liked the firm foam and bounce at first, but as I wore them for an hour or more, they began to feel hard and made the area around my inner big toe feel sensitized. I have pain with my met joint and second toe and need firm support, and ideally more of a rocker than this shoe provides; the pressure/discomfort around my big toe made these shoes impossible to keep.

I bought a pair of the next to last year and I would give them a five because insole was so comfortable. I decided to get another pair in a different color this year and the insole felt totally different. Both were max 2, but they didn't seem like they were made by the same manufacturer.

Not for me unfortunately, not used to that much cushion which caused increased hamstring cramping and some sciatic pain after running. I will be sticking with Brooks but returned this pair with plan to purchase ghost or glycerine.

Love the color and style, however not enough cushion under the ball of my big toe. Feet hurts after wearing a few hours. Tried socks, but socks make the shoes too tight to wear. I normally wear a 9.5, purchased a 10. It's enough room to wear without socks.

They have a lot of cushion but are a little snug and rub on my toes.

I really wanted to love these as everything I read made me think the shoes were for me. Unfortunately after wearing them for 3 days @6 miles a day, only using them to walk in, I found them to be too heavy. So much so that I had extreme back and hips pain that I've never experienced before. Thankfully I was able to return and I'm trying to decide if Brooks are for me. The customer service was unlike anything I ever experienced, wish they would've worked out!
