Home Run? I would say a triple. Comfortable shoe. One of my two favorite go-to wear all day and workout shoes. The rocker is the star of this shoe, along with the low 6mm drop, a nice departure for 10mm or 12mm drops. My only complaint is the non-gusseted tongue. Within 5 minutes of wearing, the shoes tongue migrates to the lateral side of the shoe. Constant repositioning of the tongue is annoying. Brooks should have gusseted only one side (medial side) of the tongue, and this would have prevented constant tongue migration and still would have made the shoe easy to put on. For the Ghost Max 3, I would suggest a single inside (medial) tongue gusset and a lower 4mm drop and then this shoe would probably be a home run.

These shoes are AMAZING! 5 stars for everything but the colorways. We seem to only get one good one among then 1 and the 2 Ghost Maxes. The only good one this time shows sellouts in every size as opposed to the sad, boring ones. Please give us more fun colors. I love the limited edition blue ones before and these blue and pink ones for the 2s.

Too thick and heavy for running shoes. Great for walking, but Im a runner

I completed agree with all of the negative reviews! The shoe is 1/2 size smaller. It is definitely not as comfortable as the the original!! PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK! I love the original Ghost Max. I would abolutely buy more pairs.

Im a walker and love the extra cushioning for my ankles in the Ghost Max 2s.

I've been wearing the Ghost Max from the first release. It works perfectly for me and my daily walks. One thing about the Max 2 is that I've found it to be running a smig smaller in length than the Max 1 version. I can wear my normal size 9 but with thinner socks. I did order a 9.5 and I'm happier with that size.

Too bulky for everyday wear. They were comfortable and supportive but I elected to return them.

I love the extra cushioning. No need to break them in. I use these for walking, especially at work. Only thing I would recommend is the back of the shoe is too low and makes my socks slide down. I normally wear an I normally wear a size 8, but because of the extra cushioning, I went with an 8 1/2, and that is perfect. Absolutely love this style.

Great shoes for running, walking or standing on your feet for long periods of time feels like your walking on air

Absolutely LOVE the comfort and support of this shoe. This is the best version yet. Only wish Brooks would better stock sizes because they sell out extremely fast and remain sold out.

I like the ghost max better. Seems like the ghost max 2 the toe box is smaller and the shoe size run smaller. I wear size 10. But get a size up for running. The 10/5 my toe is all the way to end of the shoe.

They should let us customize the colors because the options currently are trash. And I doubt they're gonna release more colors anytime soon... Usually size 8.5 women for regular sneakers but I need size 8 wide. Feels a little snug in the toes but it should be fine once worn a couple times.

Love love love these shoes! I typically wear Glycerins only but decided to give these a go.I bought another pair right away and use them at the gym. Excellent support and cushion!

Too Much cushion. Do not like them for running at all.

I rotate these with my other walking shoes when I walk my dog everyday. They initially felt less cushy than the original ghost maxes and after about 7 weeks of every other day wear, there is practically no cushion left. Big expense for little wear.

Little snug at first medium width. Feeling much better with wear. Use for work since I am on my feet. Love them.

Omg!! Im in love for those shoes!! I have a lotta back and neck pain and I feel almost no impact from jumping and theyre beautiful! I was not confident about the colors but I loved mine!! Very cute and stylish

I loved my original Ghost Max and loved the look of the Ghost Max 2. Unfortunately its not the same fit. What a disappointment! Unfortunately its to late to return them.

Color is ok but its just not the fit for me. Felt stiff compared to Ghost Max.

These are so beautiful and comfy overall! However these feel more narrow in the outer toe area than the original Max style. It might just be me but I tried adjusting the tightness with the laces and still found them a bit tight. Most likely will return and get another pair of the original Max style.

I'm so disappointed! Ghost Max 1 was a dream come true and it fit my rigid orthotics beautifully. The heel cup in the new design is shallower, so it won't work for me. My heel slides out.

I love the whole line of of ghost shoes and have been wearing them a long time. The new Ghost Max 2 is cushiony and comfy. I wish it came in more colors though. To be honest, I only walk in them so I cant speak to how they would be for a running shoe. They are wonderful for walking. Actually my daughter in law runs in them and she raves about them. Ive been wearing Brooks since the 70s when I did run and my first pair were Brooks Villanovas in blue and red.

Feels like the shoes run small. Or forces my toe forward. I didnt notice it until after my first run, so too late to return. A little frustrated that I will have to run these down before my next pair

These are my first pair of brooks and I was really excited to give them a try. The shoes provide great support as Iam on my feet all day. I noticed during the first week of wearing the shoes that my ankles felt achy- but have since resolved. My only complaint is that the shoes are not true to size. I normally wear a size 9 but I felt that this fit felt snug. I will be exchanging this for a size 9.5 to see if its a better fit
